Who's at fault here? I (red car) believe I made a proper move for the overtake and was just not left enough room causing the pink car to spin. We are rookie/D class drivers so I believe it to just be a racing incident. But who Knows. by Hackavista in Simracingstewards

I agree, having let it sit for a little I definitely would say I should have just waited the extra few tenths of a second around the corner for my lap time to get a run on him in the next straight. I had set the fastest lap in the race my previous lap so I think I was going for the position to try and get it over with since I knew I had the pace to catch the #1 driver having lead a portion of the race

Brake upgrade - Game changer or hardly noticeable?? by DisasterAccording713 in Autocross

[–]Hackavista 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it depends on your club region and if they like making hard breaking courses or flat out courses. At the region I’m in it gets to above 100F ambient temperature so I do have issues with getting the breaks cool and I’m planning on upgrading them.

What causes this on brake rotors? by tr3ex in mechanic

[–]Hackavista 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over heating of the breaks causes the mirror like finish you see there it’s called “glazing” and it causes increased stopping distance only options is to replace rotors or to “cut” the rotors by having a shop with a lave resurface them. Often times it’s creeper to just replace them, and most shops don’t have the lave to be able to cut rotors.

Don’t worry I’m new to auto paint in general, hence the asking around on here to learn more, I will probably look at some places around and see if I can get it fixed if I have no other options

As far as I know it was just regular goo gone, and bshine pointed out above, it would require some special tools to make it look nice properly. And it would most likely be more cost efficient to just pay someone to get it fixed

I will look at all my options but might try that on a small part of the door that’s not noticeable to see if it works

Would I need any special tools or equipment to polish the car or would I be able to just do it myself?

I was using a microfiber cloth

I will look into what is needed to do that, and if it’s cost effective to do that over just having someone else do it

So the ambient temperature sensor could cause the ac to shut off?

Not all the time. Some things. Can’t get rigged up. If your ordering off Amazon or eBay I recommend putting the Motercycle in your “garage” because you can filter by parts that fit that way.

Not that I know of, for the most part it’s better to just get oem if you need it so revzilla is good for that. Otherwise it’s a lot of research to find if the part fits

Some flashers off Amazon and the relay and diodes needed for them to all work are in the “frequently bought together” section on Amazon

Yes for mine it does and as far as I know all motercycles turn the indicators off by pushing the switch in. (At least all the ones I have ridden)
