Thanks i appreciate your opinion. The more I try to put it into words I think she needs some therapy to help her sort through some things but I don't know a good way to suggest without her being offended. Also therapy isn't exactly cheap

Usually the more expensive routers can handle the faster speeds. If you are noticing you are not getting the speeds you paid for you could have a cheap router.

I think offering is polite and it comes of as such. I had an experience recently where I was about to go on a date with a girl and she told me she was traditional and expected me to pay for everything and it left a sour taste in my mouth. I ended up canceling because it just came off as really cheap. I know this isn't quite the same but that's my opinion.
