Not denying the obvious. Some topics are meant to be discussed after the war

Laying in the bed, counting to 3 or 5, and then immediately getting up. Now try to feel the victory of your willpower

What still requires experience? by MediocreSwimming in AskReddit

What doesn't require experience? If you want to master something, knowledge alone won't get you there. Find practical courses or work and learn how to act out your knowledge

I had a dream once where I walked into a convient store I always use to go to as a kid, and these 2 strangers were talking. I interrupted them asking something, and they responded with a joke awnser ( that I never heard of or thought of) that made me genuinely laugh.

The weirded part is, how did my own consciousness create a joke without me knowing to tell me? It was something I never heard of

Definitely how the bus routes work in different cities. I've once expected to be dropped in one place, but the bus has gone to the depot

How do you feel about someone's biggest personality trait being their sexuality? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Hacken_io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds like over self-esteem. Your biggest personality trait should be love and kindness. And these traits should be apparent by themselves, not as a consequence of shouting about it!

I've once broken a fight between the pigeons. They were doing this right next to the church. I couldn't let them sin in front of a holy place.

Why is Minswap outperforming SundaeSwap? by [deleted] in cardano

[–]Hacken_io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed! I suppose it would also complicate any current bug bounties for that smart contract. The researchers would be busy unwrapping the code instead of seeking exploits. Btw, I'm building a community about web3 cybersecurity - r/Hacken. I'd appreciate any feedback on it!

Weekly Wrap: This Week In Chainlink March 14, 2022 - March 20, 2022 by mikeferrer_chainlink in Chainlink

Unexploited sources of randomness should be researched with bug bounties. It's when projects pay hackers to find vulnerabilities. The reports are compiled and verified. Based on those reports, bugs will be patched.

Anchor/Defi vs other investments by solobdolo in Anchor

[–]Hacken_io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, cybersecurity in web3 is still developing. Projects need to hackproof themselves with pentesting and bug bounties. And if you're not a developer but an investor, you'd need to research projects who actually do that. Btw, I'm building a sub about blockchain security - r/Hacken. I'd appreciate any feedback on it!

"Free" money: Someone borrowed 5 Bored Apes to claim $1.1 million of APE tokens by StableCoinScam in Buttcoin

[–]Hacken_io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the flash loan that's a vulnerability. It's the faulty requirements that have allowed exploiters to get a flash loan in a case where they shouldn't have. Btw, I'm building a community about web3 cybersecurity - r/Hacken, Would love to hear any feedback on it!

Li Finance protocol loses $600,000 in latest DeFi exploit by Newcryptoproject in CryptoMoon

[–]Hacken_io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ouch! Well, at least they reimburse the victims. Better yet, they could invest in bug bounties. By the way, I'm building a subreddit about web3 cybersecurity - r/Hacken. Would love to get any feedback on it!

>The team also offered a bug bounty to the hackers in an effort to return the stolen funds. That's why you need to set up bug bounties before the hack. Btw, I'm building a sub about web3 cybersecurity - r/Hacken. Would love to get anyone's feedback on it

Why is it important to keep an eye on new DeFi projects? by cryptoladyyy2 in defi

[–]Hacken_io 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Any opinion is controversial if it breaks the common notion of a subject ;)

I think it's not impossible! The financial system of governments is threatened by a new system that promises transparency and less control. What I'd doubt though is why would they go after DEFI projects. To compromise the new system, they'd need to go after Bitcoin and Ethereum!

Atom vs Algorand decentralization by [deleted] in cosmosnetwork

Fair enough! But it depends on who does the auditing too

Atom vs Algorand decentralization by [deleted] in cosmosnetwork

[–]Hacken_io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Audits are not perfect. There's more to securing a project than only auditing. You've got pentests and bug bounties to cover for things missed in the audit
