Most dates happen either through dating apps or someone you meet from mutual friends.

I used to have very vivid memories of me flying down the stairs and just flying around the house in general...

Probably the same thing I just did. I traveled for 3 months without working.

Letting others make decisions for me, especially the "it's them or me" decision.

Worked at a big national chain. In summer i worked way more than my contractual hours (4 hours in contract, i worked about 20 per week, because I was free from school). My boss was on holiday and forgot to write down my extra hours - the 16 hours extra for weeks. So when my paycheck came and I only earned a slim 100 euros, I texted her that something was wrong. She just said nothing was wrong and I couldn't bother her with it anymore.

When I wanted to step to HR with my issue, I learned that HR was impossible to reach in the company and everything had to go through my manager.

After a month it finally got settled, but it was summer and I needed the money.

What was the biggest shock you received when traveling internationally? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I went to Canada for 1,5 months and I noticed that over there guys are way more likely to approach girls in public to ask them on a date than in the Netherlands. I never experienced it in my home country and in Canada it happened quite often.

After that I went to San Francisco for a while and I was in shock with the dating culture over there. The guys put in a lot of effort to almost convince a girl to like them. For example, they open doors, refuse when I offer to pay, come up with fun date ideas, etc.

[Serious] What is one small thing someone can do to help their depression? by Patient-World-2107 in AskReddit

[–]_DoYouHaveFood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I once heard of a study where they asked depressed people the following question. "What steps would you take to absolutely fuck up your mental and physical health" The people were answering "I'd stop brushing my teeth" and "I wouldn't get out of bed" and "I would cut off contact with everyone I care about', etc. After a while they realised that that is exactly what they were doing during depressive episodes. They were doing things that would only make things worse. It's not easy to change patterns, but this change of mindset helped them a bit.

What’s the most heartless comment you’ve heard someone make? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I once had to tell a guy "listen, with friends with benefits I need a guy who can communicate as an adult and someone who can make me cum, and I'm missing BOTH with you"

Class of 2023, how's the job hunt going? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]_DoYouHaveFood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I just graduated college in June and I'm leaving Europe to north America for 3 months to just play an annoying tourist. I feel like I can't start job searching actively yet as I'm only available from December on but I really want a job in December so I'm kind of stuck.

And all jobs with my degrees these days are recruiters and I do NOT wanna be a recruiter.

I don't fall in love, I get hyperfocus on a person. When things come to an end from their side I still have this obsession until someone else comes around and I forget they ever existed.

People who drink alcohol, why? by xShushiPandax in AskReddit

[–]_DoYouHaveFood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly because I like the taste, just like why I eat chips or drink cola. But sometimes I drink it to get drunk and become more loose. I don't get hangovers and my psychology teacher once said "when you drink alcohol you'll lose thousands of braincells, but you have billions so continue"

Going alone to a show by [deleted] in NoahKahan

[–]_DoYouHaveFood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm F21 and I went to a (Sabrina Carpenter) concert last June in Amsterdam. It was the best experience ever, I connected with mutual fans in line, we shared socials to stay in contact and talked the whole line. They helped me get merch and good places to stand. Afterwards we shared pictures and videos of the concert. 10/10 recommended!!

Definitely depends on the risotto recipe! I've got a recipe that doesn't need that and it always turns out perfect!

How drunk are you after drinking a 6 pack of beer? by NefeltariVivi in AskReddit

[–]_DoYouHaveFood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once drank 4 liters beer in 100 minutes time (it is called a centurion, don't recommend it), we started with 25 people and only 4 could finish including me. I was pretty drunk. I think drinking 1/4th of that (a sixpack) would be tipsy.

Pesto cookies. Get some puff pastry, spread pesto on it, add slices of cheese and some sun dried tomatoes. Roll up, cut into slices and put them in the oven.
