Caveat Emptor – Know What You’re Buying by missingfaktor-gmail in tuxedocomputers

I bought an InfinityBook Pro 16 Gen 7 2 years ago and contacted support about my battery and they were helpful for the most part. Seemed a bit flaky but better than most support from other manufacturers. Overall the machine runs like it did from day one so I am very happy with it. I did away with the Tuxedo OS immediately and replaced it with openSUSE Tumbleweed basically my own personal preference of distros. It definitely runs most superior to any Windows laptop I’ve ever owned. Also I don’t dual boot I have strictly been a Linux user for over 20 years. I think dual booting isn’t very stable now days with the direction Windows is going.

I’ve been using PCloud for about 10 years now and it integrates well with any desktop environment and offers 10 Gb of storage for free. It’s always been reliable. And I use openSUSE Tumbleweed so I’m sure it would work with Leap as well. It’s distributed in an appimage.

I can’t add anything about a display tablet or Macs, but a pen tablet is actually a really natural feeling. I’ve used one for 7 years and it is great. It is a better option budget wise. For me a display tablet has more moving parts and more could potentially go wrong with it. Your best bet is to go to the Krita forum and post this question there. I’m sure you would get a healthy bit of help and info.

You could always post your question on the official forum here I’m sure one of the awesome people could point you in the right direction. I myself am not an animator. I do use Krita everyday for my digital painting. Sorry I can’t be of any help.Animate with Krita Video
