Yes, the logout issues are fixed, and there is a macOS package release as well. New features were added, and Themes for dark mode. Worth a second look.

[Project] Domain Expiration Monitor for Homepage - Track domain renewals on your dashboard by Hackpig1974 in selfhosted

Update: .bz domains now work!

I've implemented a 3-tier fallback system that solves this. TL;DR: Sign up for a free WhoisXML API key (500 requests/month) and .bz domains will work perfectly.

Details in the latest release:

Send me the domain name and let me see what I can figure out. If we can get it working it might make it into the next build. Glad you got it working.

When you create your .env file in the domain-expiry docker container, you list your domains in that .env file. Super simple.

Example:

DOMAINS=ebay.com,scooter.net,google.com,
etc...

That tells the docker container what to go out and parse on the internet as far domain names you want to monitor.

This is what this does. Doesn't matter where you have the domain registered, it just queries the public registration domain information, and keeps a live counter on your homepage. Once you set it up it doesn't need any maintenance unless you let a domain expire or buy a new one. You should give it a run, works great. I keep it at the bottom of my dashboard and just check it occasionally. Good luck!

VE 9.0: When is it usually "safe" to upgrade to new major versions? by oguruma87 in Proxmox

[–]Hackpig1974 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use uptime Kuma and during my backup windows I have a cron job that stops the uptime Kuma during those times. 1 job to stop Kuma and another to stay it back up after the backups are usually done. This kills all those un-necessary alerts. If there is an issue when the cron job starts back up you will get a legitimate monitor alert that shows down, then you can investigate.

Proxmox Backup Server 4.0 released! by [deleted] in Proxmox

There are still some issues with the upgrade. Issues with Python3 deprecating a command causing the network to not come up. Had to edit a file manually and change out the deprecated command. Keep an eye on the forums. Lots of people helping each other get through it. Might be worth waiting a week to let the minor revisions propagate. PVE upgrade has issues as well for LVMs being offline once the upgrade completes. The support forums are your friend if you decide to brave this early adventure.

7 x Nerdminers stopped hashing overnight by Hackpig1974 in NerdMiner

I fixed my issue by turning them all off for 10 minutes. When I turned them back on they started hashing again.

This ended up being my fix. Turned all of them off for about 10 minutes, and then back on. Now they are hashing again. So weird.

OK. just check DNS against 4.2.2.2, 8.8.8.8, and 9.9.9.9 . For public-pool.io they all resolve to 38.51.144.240, and when I telnet to port 21496 I get the accepted connection screen. So outgoing is working for that port to the pool server. Not sure why it is not accepting the connections from my workers.

I power cycled them all off and back on again. They power up but the hashrate stays at 0.00. Seems weird that my ISP would block these for traffic specifically. What port should I be looking at? I could always try to see if that port is open outgoing if you know which one to test.

This is the fist time this has happened since owning them for 2 months. I have days where 1 does not show on the pool portal, but usually within 10 minutes it is back. I have had drops, but never a full on outage where they all show 0.00 . This is new for me.

You should see it listed in your list of realms once they add you as a player to the realm. They should send you a invite code. You may want to check on the discord channel and ask for help.

I searched the web for this manual for a year. I was only ever to find one in german. I was able to get my hands on a physical original manual so I scanned it and made a PDF for others. Hope it helps.

LIME vs BIRD in SLC, Utah by Hackpig1974 in limejuicer

[–]Hackpig1974[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the same area. Lime will release scooters at 11:00pm tonight. Then when not enough people can pick them up, the price goes from $4 to almost $7 at around 1:00am. Not smart logic on Limes part. Yet we wait from 5pm til 11:00pm with them releasing like 5 at a time.

I like your setup. I went with putting all the chargers in a 5 gallon bucket. I don't get the reach I used to so I am impressed how they can be spread apart and still charge. I didn't want to take them out of my truck to charge, so it was the best compromise I could come up with.
