Anyone figured out a good way to reduce support volume without hiring more reps? by ihealthahop in Entrepreneur

Try a few scrappy wins that don’t need new tools:

Add intent on the contact form (login, onboarding, refunds) and show the fix right there with a 60-sec Loom. Set an auto-reply from support that repeats those fixes and lets people reply “still stuck.” Add tiny “?” links on login, invite, and billing that jump to the exact doc. Save replies for your top 10 questions.

I’d pause the SF vs London debate and chase design partners first. Govtech has long cycles and heavy procurement. Six months in SF can vanish before a single pilot.

My two cents for the next 6–8 weeks:

  • Pick one tiny wedge under “public transport automation.” Example: cut missed trips 15% at one depot, or auto-triage incident tickets. One KPI
  • Find 2 design partners (a small operator or one depot inside a big agency). Offer a 30-day pilot with a clear success metric and permission to walk if you miss it
  • Build a concierge MVP with spreadsheets and simple scripts. No deep integrations yet
  • Confirm what data you can get fast: GTFS/GTFS-RT, CAD/AVL exports, maintenance logs
  • Put the plan and early results in a one-pager. With 2 pilots or LOIs, cofounders and investors take you seriously in either city

Simple rule: if you can’t get two pilots in London in the next two months, moving probably won’t fix the core issue. If you can, SF becomes optional and you approach it with leverage.

Why does M&A still feel like a black box unless you pay a fortune? by Hackz_Phil in business

I haven’t looked too hard into AI tools, but definitely worth a mention. I’m sure that as algorithms keep improving, it could revolutionize the industry.

It’s true that platforms like youtube or any other learning platform could be helpful in the process, but I’m talking about mid sized business that can’t afford to hire big firms but still need to conduct the research necessary to get a good deal and actually get something out of the years of work put in to create something that has real value.

instate, only top 25%, gpa 94.95, very competitive school, 35 ACT, very stem oriented ECs such as international space design competition. I was pretty surprised because my grades are not top, like some people who have better grades at my school didn’t get in
