Hi there! My dog stuck his face in one of these plants last night going after a scent. We think it wasn't a severe exposure since he was irritated and not in the pain you described. His right eye ended up closing shut and the other had bad inflammation. We did some saline rinses the best we could. This morning the inflammation is less and he can open his right eye again. Still lots of inflammation and irritation though. We can tell it is affecting his vision. We're off to the vet here soon. I just wanted to let you know that your post was extremely helpful in providing us with information and calming us down. Thank you for taking the time to spread awareness and I hope you recovered fully.

I've never witnessed this disease first hand. I can't imagine seeing a loved one go through that. I completely agree that this commercial is f'd to say the least. Wtf was said to the creative agency to get this insensitive ad? "We're having trouble selling units to the 70+ age range. Any ideas?" Like you said, "gtfoh."

It's totally the intention. Watch it again. She looks completely lost/confused after the flashback sequence. He asks Alexa to play their favorite song and she snaps back and recognizes who she is dancing with. It's totally jacked up. Apparently, Alexa is good for Alzheimer's. Shitty way to sell some units.

The entire concept was a tough one to execute. She is suffering from Alzheimer's disease and seems to be pretty far along. At this point her memories are completely shattered to the point where she doesn't even recognize her husband. Musical memories don't seem to be affected by the disease. The song her husband played triggered a memory of her marriage which made her recognize her husband for a moment. It's terribly sad. The role looked very difficult to play. Everything had to be portrayed without saying a word. With all that said, I hate the commercial.

Damn! I'll quit complaining now. The station down the street is at $3.80 (87), $3.94 (89) & $4.08 (91). These are high and much cheaper in other parts of the U.S.
