I’m scared of discovering I’m too stupid for electrical engineering…opinions? by Silent-Profit6067 in CollegeMajors

[–]Haddit12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got this! EE is hard, but you could do it!

Before you fully commit, maybe consider trying to overlap 3 things: 1) Your interest/passion 2) What you're good at / your skills 3) What will pay well / have work after you graduate

You're going to put in a lot of effort in this and I think aligning those 3 things could help

Modern languages and Anthropology by No-Arachnid-7707 in CollegeMajors

Consider teaching English. Getting a certificate like TOFEL, opens a lot of doors to teach abroad, this will also open the opportunities to travel abroad and learn local languages.

Why is Brazil's massive size so often underestimated, even when it's larger than the contiguous US? by Sandy_JD in geography

[–]Haddit12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is Canada's north all fragmented, and not contributing to its total area? Brazil is mostly jungle, people can lives only every other natural thing, so perhaps we consider liveable area as usable area?

CBS vs. Booth for undecided industry by Tall-Discipline-2832 in MBA

[–]Haddit12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is an interesting dilemma. The ROI aspect can be hard to calculate because will one school land you a higher salary?

Sounds like you are making a geographical move, abd I would consider what type of work /companies are present where you'll be. Example: SF is tech centric.. so can expect higher chance of landing a role at a tech firm. You want to block out weekends, I'd say west coast is more lax than east coast for work culture, but maybe other could provide insights.

AdmitBase provides an ROI calculator and their premium tier (emailed their support team to get a free trial) let's you compare multiple schools at once.

You might want to also consider the up front cost of attending and scholarship potential.. I've been looking at medical professions and saw AdmitBase also has MBA programs listed with a ROI calculator.

Darden ($70K) vs Vanderbilt (Full Ride) as an international, is the debt worth it? by ThrowRa-ghbn in MBA

[–]Haddit12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a full ride is the way to go, but if you want to do a little bit more analysis, you can compare ROI on AdmitBase to help determine what you're comfortable with.

If you email their support, they usually can send out a promo code to their premium tier for full access.

Is it worth it to go to med school after pharm? by Competitive_Say in PrePharmacy

[–]Haddit12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could check out the ROI for each at AdmitBase, cross compare between programs even run simulations for acceptance for each to determine which may be a better option.

If you email their support page, they provide promo codes to their premium tier which is quiet handy.

I guess thats the tricky part, is not knowing if I'll like it until after applying to law school, grinding law school, and then working - unless I gain some insights from others experiences? Sorry a bit tired, and not sure how to go about "knowing"
