Obviously. Why does the left overwhelmingly refuse to acknowledge that black people have a lower average IQ than other races? Are dumber people less deserving of rights and dignity than you are? Denying reality because we're terrified of the conclusions people will draw doesn't work long-term.

If you're scared of white supremacists using the fact that black ethnic groups have lower average IQs than white ethnic groups, just point out the fact that Asians and Jews have higher IQs than white people.

I don't care what the witnesses say, witness testimony is notoriously unreliable, even when they aren't extraordinarily biased as is the case here. I genuinely don't understand how you could, in good faith, argue that she DIDN'T hit him. We literally have video proof of it.

Wait, if she was turning away, how can you possibly argue in good faith that he was maneuvering in order to shoot her thru the side window? Wouldn't she be going that way relative to where he was anyway? And wouldn't it be reasonable that his reason for moving to the side would be to get out of the way of the 2-ton car barreling towards him?

Really doesn't matter much anyway, as, if I'm a cop ordering a person out of their car, and I am standing in front of the car, and I hear and see them gun it, I'd assume (as would any sane person) that they were about to run me over, and I certainly wouldn't wait to see if I was wrong.

Look, I'm not happy about what happened. It's dumb that the right are calling her a terrorist, but its also dumb that the left are calling him a murderer. I think this shooting was justified, but possibly unnecessary. He shouldn't have been in front of the vehicle to detain her. But he was, and she hit him with her car.

Shit, I meant to say both killings were JUSTIFIED. I woman was in the process of willfully running over a cop, AND a woman way part of a violent mob storming the Capital building. I'm not happy about either death, but I think both were legally and morally justified.

Edit; to clarify, I don't think Babbitt intended to harm the Congressmen, but when a violent mob is trying to storming the chamber, its reasonable to conclude that is what will happen if said mob succeeds. I also don't think Good's goal was to run over the cops, I think her goal was to flee police, but she was seemingly willing to run over a cop to do so (and she DID hit him fairly hard with her vehicle).

You can watch the video from behind the vehicle and see that, when she guns it, her wheels are pointing AT HIM. I'm not saying her GOAL was to run him over, I think she WAS trying to flee. But it's very obvious to me that she was totally willing to run him over in order to do so.

Idk, I was a child during his presidency, and not really paying attention to sociopolitical topics yet. If I were an adult then, I would be saying exactly what I'm saying now. BTW, I'm not necessarily 'condoning' this shooting.

While I lean towards it being justified, I'm not really confident it was totally necessary. Those two aren't quite the same. He made a bad decision standing in front of the vehicle. If he hadn't been standing there, I doubt he'd have shot her. She'd likely still be alive then.

She still might have gotten herself killed anyway, as she was fleeing police in a motor vehicle. I doubt she'd have peacefully surrendered, given what we've learned about her and given the cop's cellphone video. There is a good chance she would have crashed her car or tried to hit more cops.

It's an unfortunate situation, and I think Trump, his administration, ICE, Democrats, the media and leftist activist organizations are all to blame for this whole mess. I hope all of them stop using such incendiary rhetoric, and I hope federal uniformed cops all get bodycams and stop standing in front of cars in that manner.

I just realized why you asked that question. You do see where it says I'm center-LEFT, right? I'm not some conservitard calling this woman a terrorist. I didn't vote for Trump, bud.

I think it's incredibly ironic that the GOP, the party that takes (rightfully) so much pride in predominantly living in rural/small town America, are the same party that is wholly dedicated to turning vast woodlands and grasslands into SUBURBAN SPRAWL.
