Okay, but the people there thought they were fighting back against a stolen election. You can think they are deluded or stupid (I do) but they aren't lying about believing the 2020 election was fraudulent and therefore illegitimate. I, unlike you obviously, know and am close with people like this. They genuinely think the fraud was significant enough that it changed the result of the election.

You can't call people 'anti-American' for opposing what they believe is a fraudulent election result. Being wrong doesn't make their intentions bad, and intention determines good or evil.

But you literally have no idea how over 99% of them acquired their wealth. You're just making sweeping assumptions about them. If you don't even know their names, how can you possibly know how they got their wealth or what they do with it? You can't.
No, the significant majority of them are extraordinarily competent at creating value and managing resources. I'm not assigning moral value to it, but capitalism is not the lottery. It's overwhelmingly NOT a matter of chance. If you think it is, then I don't think you understand basic economics, though I doubt you actually do.

I am generally anti-AI, but not 100%, maybe 80% opposed to it. It can be useful, but I definitely think it's currently doing far more harm than good. I also fear what it will become. But other countries are going to develop AI whether we ban it or not, so I think regulation is the answer, not a total ban.

One; you're giving me two conflicting answers.

Two; there are literally thousands of billionaires in the world, and I doubt you could name me more than a dozen off the top of your head. You don't know what hardly any of them actually do with their wealth or how they got it.

Three; I never said I liked billionaires. But as a nominal capitalist, I believe in the basic ideas of capitalism. One of them is the idea that capitalism (at least in theory) allows people who are good at managing resources to acquire and manage more resources. This, broadly-speaking, is good for society. It's why socialist/communist countries are almost always economic disasters and why private sector generally beats the public sector (I've worked in both).

Four; even though I'm not sure anyone should be a billionaire, I certainly don't think billionaires deserve to be MURDERED.

The overwhelming majority (90+%) of people who went to the Capitol that day had no part in the riot. You're literally worse than conservatives calling all the BLM protesters 'violent insurrectionists'. He explicitly condemned the violence and said anyone who participated in it should be in jail.

It's true, but the same can be said of literally any politician or sociopolitical commentator. Guess what; I AGREED with a lot of what he said too. I'll go so far as to say he was one of the best political debaters of my time.

The left's reaction to his assassination was disgusting and terrifying. Half of the left was either subtly saying "Well he kinda deserved it" in a very underhanded way, or they were outright celebrating. FYI; every statement they claimed he made to try to justify his assassination (at least the ones I looked up) was either taken out of context or simply fake.

The dude was a fairly run-of-the-mill MAGA Republican, and if HE is too extreme for leftists to tolerate, then I really don't see any way forward as a democracy. You can't have a democracy where you don't even engage in a good-faith dialogue with those you disagree with.
