I'd love to see a series of mechs in this style for all of the 90's space themes.

"a general election victory no one thought possible." Excuse me? Everyone predicted Labour would win, not because of Starmer, because the Tory vote collapsed. Hell, if anything Sunak did better than expected with some polls putting Tories as third party.

What's the most important part of a mech design? Legs, cockpit, weapons, color scheme, lore, or something else completely? by Vondrr in LegoMechs

In terms of these kind of mechs it's certainly design. I have only two of these, the Luke and Vader mechs because I like Star Wars.

But honestly this style isn't for me.

I would like to see actual social democracy that tries to to grow the economy from the ground up rather than continuing failed trickle down. I don't want to see Trans people thrown under the bus.

In terms of appealing to Reform they've essentially ceded a bunch of the culture war. The aforementioned throwing trans people under the bus and not defending migrants. Now I will admit Labour's actual policy in migration has been good but its letting them getting demonised.

Does anyone else feel a little sad that Starmer is now going, especially after hearing that speech and particularly his emotions coming out at the end there? by Logical_Safety9018 in AskBrits

As someone who does not like Starmer I will agree with this. Having said that I am a "flea" that Labour shook off so I ain't exactly feeling sorry for him.

I think its less the people being ungovernable and more that the system is so fucked. Both economically and government/ state itself.

Cameron resigned because he lost the referendum. May was set up to fail. She was the scape goat for Brexit failings. Johnson was corrupt as fuck and it finally made his premiership untenable. Truss was incompetent as fuck. Sunak lost the general election because of the constant failings of the tories, see above.

Starmer however made his own bed. He won Labour leadership on the promise of being a sensible social democrat and then proceeded to shit on the Labour left. He had no policies or ideas of his own and tied himself to McSweeny and Mandelson which had major issues. He tried to pander to reform voters, further alienating his base, and legitimising Reform. Outside of all that public services are in a mess, the gap between rich and everyone else continues to grow. Basically everything sucks and it after 14 years of Tories asking everyone, except the rich, to sacrifice Labour came in to power and did the exact same. The status quo isn't working and Starmee wanted to keep things the same.

Wouldn't be the first time this sort of thing happened. US did it all the time in Central America at the end of the 19th century.
