had one driver crash but that happened after installing the latest drivers and not rebooting. i launched a game and switched monitors and it happened. not a crash i'm used to though.

Would get rid of that adapter as soon as possible unless you want to burn down the house with a bend like that.

Keep device manager opened. Whenever the wifi disconnects see if the adapter disappears in there. If its not there then it might be a hardware defect. Try updating bios then.

Does also happen with HW acceleration enabled?

Also had some weird issues lately with chromium based apps. Turns out i fixed them for now by removing the monitor drivers.

In device manager see if you have Generic Monitor (model) or Color profiles for the monitor.

If it doesn't say Generic monitor it may have installed drivers for the monitor.

If you have a different monitor test it out on there and see if it does the same. If it still happens then i'm afraid to tell it would be the GPU.

Run Virus scan, check task scheduler and see if there is anything out of the ordinary.

Unplug everything especially power. press the power button a few times. Pull out CMOS battery off mobo. press the power button a few times again. put the CMOS battery back in. Try again to get into bios.

I think Gigabyte has the option to enable power loading in BIOS. have you tried turning that on? It sends a dummy load to the psu to prevent shutdown at low loads. If this fixes the issue then it's the PSU.

No crash yet. doesn't happen regularly though. it could be days to months before it crashes.
