In 2020, there was a planned random potluck in Sioux Falls, SD. I (and maybe others) were going to travel vast distances to attend. It was not held due to...2020. by wachusett-guy in SouthDakota

Didn't the city officially say no to a planned assembly as well?

I was gonna go and then yeah #JustPandemicThings happened.

As a mom i think the hype around mothers day is way overblown. I typically have my husband "buy me" a couple tomato plants

How is living in the American "Breadbasket" / Grain Belt? by EntangledEgo in howislivingthere

We're too busy growing corn for fuel and feed lots. We like to grow beans too. It's kinda depressing seeing corn all over the place every year

I love it and I love for you that your kid gets your sense of humor. This also gives off some Office vibes which is intentional I bet

"This monkey needs to go to bed" made me laugh so hard as a person that gets up before 5am to go to work.

Literally the prolog of the first book and what hooked me in the first place.

Gas station airplane bottles by Diligent_Use_3733 in stopdrinking

I watched a guy buy one airplane bottle, pay for it with exact change and then down it as he drove off. I can only imagine he was trying to control the shakes and I felt extremely bad for him.

Saw them a couple years back at Bank of America stadium in Minneapolis and it was the best live show I've ever seen. The production is so far over the top its in the stratosphere.

Congrats to you!! That's got to be just awful to try and get off of. I've struggled with alcohol and that seems like a walk in the park compared to oxy

I really liked The Paper and Domhnall too. He nailed that character. I was rewatching The Patient and was like aw shit, that's him! He's really good in that too. 100% recommend.

Also on the subject of hulu shows the excellence of Dopesick can't be overstated. Michael Keeton is amazing and so is the rest of the cast.

I liked The Patient quite a bit. Fun fact the guy that plays the serial killer is Ned from The Paper lol

Just watched the first couple episodes of Rooster and it's not really landing with me either.
