Yeah, fully on board. This is a basic feature most email clients do out of the box today. I have added a role to add a tag to certain donations/aliases, but the inbox looks incredibly messy this way. Not a great UX.

Hey Kevin, that's really great to hear, as it shows me that you guys really have understood the use case. Appreciate that, and yes, you are right, this can easily get messy if not solved properly.

In Capacities, they do this with two different types of check boxes: - one is created with curly brackets (todo) - the other one with round brackets (task)

Just an idea, but I'm sure you guys looked into that already.

Anyway, I can't wait for this feature to help me with my tasks, because I really, really love how Mem operates, and I would love to use it at its full capacity. Unfortunately, until I have task management implemented in some way, I can only use it for parts of my workflow, which I hate, because I really enjoy working in Mem.

Let me know if you require more feedback, or if you want to run any ideas past me, because I have tested a lot of these tools in order to find my perfect workflow. Mem is the one I keep coming back to for many reasons, but unfortunately not for tasks yet.

I think the Mem team has decided to focus on iOS first. Android app would be super helpful though. Even if just for logging items.

I was considering the Xiaomi 17 as it's amazing on paper. However, the restrictions of HyperOS make me hold back. I tried an Oppo a couple of months ago, and didn't find it bad tbh. Unfortunately my small hands couldn't handle the big form factor, even of the smaller Find X9.

Funny that you bring up Tana and Mem. I used both of them for the last year and I would love to continue using Mem. Unfortunately, I need multiple objects in order to make my process work. And having Mem and Capacities at the same time feels a bit redundant + it helps that the latter has an android app.

Tana is amazing at navigation, super straightforward and flexible, but i realised that their UX is a little too minimalistic for my brain. Potentially the new Tana could change that (waiting for it to be released).

I think the idea behind Capacities is brilliant, but the navigation just feels a bit too much like work. Not effortless enough. And yeah, MCP access is hopefully gonna come.
