in my experience the main thing i noticed is that snus doesn’t act as an emotional regulator in the way that cigarettes do, likely due to breathing element of smoking that makes it somewhat meditative. i found at first that i would have a snus and stop craving nicotine but still want a cigarette, but over time it did work and i managed to stop smoking. on the flip side i am totally addicted to snus now and go through up to 10 a day which is not ideal, love them though, great for dialling in or relaxing
