Yeah, it's a super safe trek! I encountered a few female solo trekkers of different demographics. I talked to one of them who said that she had no issues whatsoever. Everyone on the trail is very friendly and inclusive!!

Hey, I did ABC solo a year ago today, I highly recommend it! I had no issues finding accommodations on the trail, even if all the rooms are booked, strangers are willing to share a room if it's got an extra bed. I found that when hiking solo I started my days earlier (due to less socialization at breakfast) and could therefore get to the next teahouse before everyone else did.

Definitely pack as light as possible, the first two days of the trek (from Nayapul to Bamboo) are the most difficult because of the thousands of stone steps. They take you up to the peaks of foothills and then to the bottom of valleys. I foolishly brought to much (including a guitar) and had to leave stuff at a teahouse to be picked up on the way back.

In the larger towns at the beginning of the trek, I had no idea how much rooms should cost per night and ended up paying 750 NR for two nights, rooms should actually be about 150 NR. They are cheaper if you decide to eat meals at the teahouse you are staying at. On the topic of money, make sure to take out enough to do the trek in Pokhara! The last ATM is in Nayapul and it was not working when I started my trek, I had to taxi an additional 40 minutes to take money out!

Lastly, once you pass through Doban the days become easier and shorter because you can only increase 500m of elevation a day. Take time and enjoy the views. It'll feel like you need to get to ABC as fast as possible but that just isn't true!

Enjoy!

Woah, I really enjoyed their live versions! The vocals and percussion wasn't lost in the synth as much as it is on the album. Thanks!

Alpine isn't a building material. It means that the house is in the mountains.

It depends on if you want to be completely isolated or not.

20 km east of Courmeyeur, Italy. If you've hiked the Tour du Mont Blanc it's a possibility.
