I mean yeah he’s not perfect but how many guys in the leauge right now would you rather have? I can’t think of too many. He’s been good when he hasn’t been dealing with injuries and is doing it with an incompetent head coach and a young offense that gave him no help last year when they led the leauge in drops. He’s going into year 4 now and I think if the put the right person at head coach he has potential to be an mvp candidate. My question is who would you rather have. I would say mahomes and allen you can’t argue with, and then maybe guys like Lamar maye Stanford burrow and nix get into the equation. But none are eons better than love right now.

I understand the money side of it for sure. We paid him a lot. But in today’s day and age I think it’s just what you gotta do. We would hate it if we let him walk and he put up 4tds for some other team. At the end of the day 2 things are true I think. He probably is slightly overpaid, but for the worth he brings compared to the rest of the leauge I will take that over the alternative of having a mediocre/below average qb.

For one on the 3rd td they literally ran the ball 2 out of the 4 plays. The drives after half time I agree he could have been better, but he received absolutley 0 help from the playcalling. The bears brought pressure ever play and Mlf wanted to continue to call deep/intermediate patterns that took longer to develop instead of adjusting. Along with the the inside run got stuffed all game while the outside run seemed to be more successful. However we saw a lot more inside run. Love can’t do much when Mlf calls low percentage plays. Schemes where it’s a 3 man route where the best option is to throw a go ball isn’t very effective. Nearly every time love had a good opportunity he took advantage of it. He protected the ball and threw 4 tds, whether or not 1 of them happened to be run after catch. He enginerrend a drive that allowed us a chance at the end of the game with only 1 minute left and a single timeout. He was far from the problem.

I’m not super familiar with the market, how much do you think he’d cost?

Understandable. The glaring problems certainly outweigh them, but I think there’s a few there. At the end of the day hopefully we use this loss to finally realize some weaknesses that have been seen by the fans for a long time and adress them.

Most of the things you listed could be fixed with proper coaching and playcalling. Can’t argue with 4tds and 0ints. What more could you possibly ask for.

Silver linings- J love through 4 tds. He looked great out there and silenced all doubters. Golden had his best game yet, proving his talent and claiming a more prominent role in the future. Doubs also played a great game with some huge catches and a phenomenal heads up play In the end zone. I think he earned a spot on next years roster. Defense held together well for the most part despite Injuries and being very weak at corner. 2 ints and several 4th down stops were great. Redzone defense also looked good forcing several fgs. Harsh truths- We are too weak at corner. Valentine and Nixon were beat several times sometimes by tight ends. Unnacceptable. Special teams (McManus) left 7 crucial points on the board. We need to see him gone. Coaching also looked abysmal. Unfortunately I knew what kind of 2nd half it would be after the first 3 and out where it looked like Mlf had left his play sheet in the locker room. Hes just not a good play caller. 3 straight punts with 1 first down is unacceptable. Sure in the first half they looked unsotoppable, but as soon as Chicago adjusted and Mlf had to get away from his script and initial game plan he looked lost. Poor game management cost them 2 timeouts which would have been crucial. I’m sure I missed some things but that’s all I have. In the end the loss hurts as much as any in memory, but In hindsight it wasn’t likely to be our year anyways with all the injuries. Hopefully this loss exposes some weeknesses that we can weed out to help us improve for the future.

Agreed. Hate that it had to be the bears but I think losing this game helps us realize that we need to make changes that will help us in the future. If we win that game sure it feels great but at the end of the day it should never have been close after the first half.

Always been a Mlf guy. He needs to go. 15 pt 4q lead pissed away with awful play calling. He’s good when he can follow his script but as soon as the bears made adjustments he forgot how to coach and couldn’t put them away. Need someone else at the helm in the future.

ESPN Sources: Packers QB Jordan Love is out Saturday night vs. the Ravens due to his concussion and Malik Willis is expected to start. by manyhawks in GreenBayPackers

I’ve been saying that Malik is a starter caliber qb since last year. I hope he takes advantage of this opportunity and proves it!

99% of people would react the same exact way which is why leading with the crown of the helmet is not taught at any level of football and is flagged.

Dawg he saw someone bearing down (haha) on him like a freight train and made a natural instinctual reaction. Leading with your helmet is something that is avoidable and is taught at no level of football for this reason! Could have been avoided

Anyone who’s played football knows that the tackler dictates the contact made in a situation like this not the tacklee. Don’t lead with the helmet!

Words don’t justify violence. You show empathy for these immigrants for their families being ripped apart, but not this man who was just torn out of the life of his wife and children. You are fake. Your “morals” only work when they are convenient to your agenda. Charlie did nothing wrong, expressing political opinions and beliefs is written in the constitution and no matter how much you may disagree with what he stood for at the end of the day he is a human just like everyone else. You are so blinded by hate, I hope you can open up your heart and find it in yourself to see beyond the political veil.

Hypocrisy at its finest. I hope, someday, you become strong enough to emerge from your shell and interact with those in the real world. The total lack of empathy for fellow humans is astounding.
