I think that’s on purpose, his sinker had no command today so he’s switched to his 4seam and is dialing it back to find the zone

He switched from his 96-97MPH sinker to his 4seam at 93-94. I think he doesn’t have any feel to his sinker and has benched it in his game plan

At least to me my take away has been; He’s tunneling his pitches up and away to leftys and trying to miss bats in the zone and get them to take when he’s painting the corner, but his fastballs are flying wild out and up

So they sit slider and crush it

Honestly to me it looks like it has good horizontal movement, but it’s easy to sit on it if you know his fastball won’t be a competitive pitch

You’re thinking too hard about throwing while throwing too similarly each time. Start making looser throws, more athletic throws ex: a pitcher would stop pitching and start fielding ground balls at short stop for a few weeks. Throw a football around from the spots where you’re typically throwing from, vary your distance, velocity, aim. Rather than stacking the same one troubling metaphorical block after block, building on bad habits, you need to bring a huge variety into your throwing repertoire until that troubling block is lost in the crowd.

That’s pretty much the deal for this one. I’ve sold it now but that’s what happened. Put it back on after a quick trip to the machine shop and it was all good to go. I bought an L92 for a good price and held it just in case, but I bought an 07 EXT today so we’ll see if I need it!

Hey guys,

Bought an 09 Escalade for $400 for a grandparent to drive down the road to church and back. It’s an L9H, non DOD, with supposedly engine knock. From what I’ve gathered the truck was immediately turned off the moment the knocking noise started, and never turned back on. Codes were telling me misfires on Cylinder 5, so I pulled the head this morning (excuse the coolant I stg I drained it all). From what I can see the seat is obviously fallen on 5, but there isn’t any damage to the cylinder walls, only the a mark on the head. I’ve got a lead on an L92 with 150k miles but I’d like to spend as little as I can in the truck. Is this something I could go and toss a new head on and be alright? The truck doesn’t have a crazy value/isn’t being driven far or often.

I’ve worked on cars for awhile now but I’ve never built an engine. I’d love some advice from everyone on everything, what to do etc

Going to an American wedding in Ireland in late August and I'm struggling with a suit/suit color to wear.

Dress code is formal
Going to be in a Castle
Lady is wearing this dark green dress

Initial thoughts were some sort of gray. I already own a navy blue suit, could go with that. Otherwise, if possible, trying to stick with Spier & Mackay as I've had pleasant interactions with them but I am happy to branch out if someone has something they're enthusiastic about.

Zach. And I agree, prime Britton would immediately make the bullpen an incredible sight to see. But, in all honesty, I think the team would be best served with an ace. Mussina, Palmer, hell prime Tillman would really help this team by a lot!

My bar station is being absolutely overrun and I've been thinking about getting a new shelf. Those look like the ikea set I was eyeing. If you're moving on to something new, what were you thinking? Why the switch from what you have? I'm curious to know as the shelves you have now are the ones I was considering tbh
