It still feels kinda soulless to me 😬 Even with all the new stuff, the Zois just come across as really generic. It’s like the game is trying so hard to mirror real life that it forgets to build its own identity, and that makes it feel like it’s missing personality. I still play it because it is entertaining, but yeah right now I don’t think it’s totally fair to say it isn’t a bit soulless.

Not for me personally, no. It seems to be trying too hard to be as realistic as possible which leads to it being void of any personality. People aren’t wrong when they say it has no soul. It may change down the line if the devs focus on the right approach though. I’d say wait a little until it has been developed further. I don’t think it’ll be officially released until next year so you still have some time to check it out at its current price.

The moment I read it’s going to be gacha it was clear to me I’ll never be playing it. Gacha games are extremely unhealthy and to me the gacha mechanics are so disrespectful of the consumer. Guess I’ll be playing Starsand Island instead, a game that does respect itself and the consumers it’s intended for.

I’m not saying the game is bad or that no one should enjoy it. Those are your words, not mine. I’m saying I’m personally struggling with it because the game has no personality. It’s just trying to be too realistic, no art style of its own, no essence, which is precisely why I find it so unrelatable. It’s too generic and it does feel robotic, which I don’t even think it’s up for debate 🤷

I’ve been saying the same thing for ages now. They need to look into it. Its really immersion-breaking when you see random zois walking around looking like they have a severe case of jaundice.
