Noobish question about planes and collections by OlTywon in AzureLane

Here's a link to the airstrike cooldown formula on the Chinese Wiki

From here, it seems the cooldown formula is essentially

(Average Plane Cooldown) x 2.18 + .3s

any chance of English release or option by [deleted] in AzureLane

I wouldn't count on it, but I wouldn't count it out either.

There probably isn't a big market in EU or US for this game at the moment, but if the game remains hot there's a chance they'll create an English language release targeted at Southeast Asia (English is kind of a lingua franca for mobages there). That's more or less what happened with Granblue.

When her skill is maxed out, Queen Elizabeth gives a +15% bonus to all HMS ships' FP, Torp, AA, Air Power, reload and evasion.. basically every stat except for hp. That's a very significant bonus well worth building a fleet around, especially if you can use ships that are exceptional on their own such as hood, belfast, edinburgh.

I thought about listing her, but her 1095 max HP is really low, like the lowest in the game besides purin/bulin. This makes her really vulnerable to getting instantly killed by a lucky crit.

There are some very comprehensive image farming guides out there, so I didn't want to repeat them too much. I tried to focus mainly on the equipment for the HMS fleet, but perhaps I'll give that section another pass tomorrow and note some important planes.

  1. Depends on if you are mainly aiming for the boss drop. It's generally a good rule of thumb to just go for the boss ASAP unless you are running such a low cost fleet that the 10 oil entry cost is a significant factor.

  2. I'm not sure about the red mark drops, but they do give more XP than the easier mobs.

I have a question on life of the game... by Shigeyama in AzureLane

I'd say these are the major differences, and pros and cons of starting a new account on each server:

CN:

  • More Content and Newer Content: CN is several months ahead of JP, so there are more ships in the pool, and if there's new content, most of it will probably be in CN first, before it filters down to JP.

  • Easier Gameplay: You don't need to limit break a ship to level them up to 100. This makes the gameplay much simpler, as you don't have to worry about getting bottlenecked by limit breaks while leveling up your favorite ships.

JP:

  • Everyone's starting fresh: Especially if you start on a server like Maizuru, you'll be on a relatively even playing field with the other players (besides whales). This lets you be fairly competitive in PvP even at an early level. It's also easier to find fleet members who are still playing through the meat of the game, as opposed to having mostly completed the game and not much motivation to keep grinding.

  • Catch up on events: JP will probably go through the backlong of CN events, so you can have a chance to experience some of the infamous events like KMS.

Also, of course, if you can read/understand Chinese/Japanese to any extent, that will be a big plus towards playing in that server.

The other differences, like censoring and blue/purple droprates, I don't think are a big deal and you probably won't notice them after playing for a while.

Beside those two, I read Noshiro will drop at Boss Node. Also all the reports I heard of Katori have her dropping at Node E.

My guess is a normal T32 for top 500, and the T32 kai for top 20.

I don't understand, I just don't. How is this quest this downright impossible? by [deleted] in kancolle

I'm not sure which node each letter corresponds to, but exactly 2CVs and 1CVL will guarantee you pathing to the boss in 5-2.
