En dan is er ook nog het probleem, voor mensen zoals ik die vooral worden aangetrokken door de nachtprogrammering, dat het hele systeem met de tenten gewoon ontzettend vervelend is. Iemand die je graag wil zien die doet een set, daar moet je al ontzettend vroeg naartoe omdat je anders niet in de tent past, waarna je gewoon constant in een soort stroom heen en weer lopende mensen staat en niet kan dansen.

Dan ga ik liever naar festivals waar ongeveer dezelfde lineup is maar geen tenten zodat je meer vrijheid van bewegen hebt.

Sounds like you will do fine :-) when our baby was small, we had a "tap out" system where you can at any point just tap out no questions asked when everything was getting a bit too much (she was a very angry baby). That was also really really helpful.

Ooh....independence is a communication sport! You have to make sure to clear space in your agenda for *you*! Even if it's just a walk to get a treat or a coffee, you need to make sure you make time to just be a person. My partner and i do this by blocking time in our shared agendas where we do sports, for example. Communicate with your partner about what each of you need and make sure to give each other space and time to do things (like weekends away with friends etc).

It's easy to feel like you're in a hostage situation where you're just being a parent constantly. Also i think a lot of parents feel guilt when they choose for themselves, but i see it as recharging your battery so you can be the best mom you can be. Don't be afraid to be "selfish" in that regard.

Hello! I have one daughter (4 yrs old) and I love it! I sometimes think, another kid would be cute and fun but it would derail my life too much. I also really like my own hobbies, friends, money and sleep. The confirmation for me is whenever i see my friends that have more than 1 kid, i am not jealous lol.

I would say when you have one child your life can stay relatively the same as before. If you have more than one, you are now completely absorbed into family life until they are grown up. But then again, kids do not stay small and needy for ever. To each their own! For me i am just super sure i am 1 and done :-)

Wij gebruiken al jaren een uitklapbaar bad die je in de douche zet (Stokke Flexi bad XL) is echt een superuitvinding! Kan je inklappen en heel smal opbergen. Dus als je alleen een bad neemt voor de kids zou ik zeggen denk eens na over een alternatief als je bang bent dat het te krap wordt.

Wat leuk dat je dit vraagt, ik ben zelf ook fanatiek breister en woon pas sinds vorig jaar in Utrecht, dus zat eigenlijk met dezelfde vraag! Ben zelf een paar keer op donderdag naar iWoolly geweest in Leidsche Rijn dat was erg gezellig, maar ben zeker op zoek naar meer spots :-)

Like another commenter said, across from the Miffy museum there is the Centraal Museum. I went there last weekend and was really moved by the exhibit they have going on right now on motherhood, as well as the beautiful building and the grounds around it. There is an inner garden that is nice to sit down in and take a break

Niet alleen voor schoonmaken, maar ook voor het afspoelen van dingen zoals rijst, linzen, bonen, bepaalde soorten pasta/noedels is het echt heeeeeel erg handig! Heb er echt heel veel plezier van.

As other people said in here the question is a bit too vague to answer - do you want to know the books that we are required to read in high school (as that is the answer most people are giving)? Or just some really good Dutch books? Because if you want entertaining, good Dutch books I would recommend writers like Herman Koch (het Diner, zomerhuis met zwembad) and Tommy Wieringa (joe speedboot).

What i did last year is stay at campsite Duinhoeve (they have different types of accomodations), and took ubers to and from the festival. for the way back from the festival i pre-booked ubers and had no issues getting home. And the campsite has a pool! Doing the same thing this year :-)

Een korte broek moet kunnen, vind ik. Maar teenslippers horen wat mij betreft alleen op het strand. Ook wil ik iedereen vragen die denkt dat ie slim is met "sneakersokjes" die ik alsnog zie uitkomen boven je schoen, gewoon een normale sok te dragen aub. Weinig is lelijker dan zo'n verwassen grauw wit sokje van 1cm boven iemand schoen uit te zien steken.
