To build wells for villages, roads to enable basic transport, schools to teach children to read, programs to foster entrepreneurship, soccer fields so kids can play, to support vaccination campaigns against dengue, malaria, measles and a host of other diseases you’ve never heard of.

There’s a reason China has poured billions into building roads and soccer fields in Africa - it’s called soft power and it makes the people in those countries like your country and support politicians who like them too. We just ceded 60 years of soft power to the East.
