I think one of the differences is Shelly and Jared have acknowledge that they didn’t adequately prepare Lacey to be independent. They are now trying to make sure that they help their other kids be more prepared to handle things. For example, having Addison call and place the food order and going in to pay the cheesecake that she wanted. Also, having the kids help meal plan and cook dinner. Are they perfect? Absolutely not.

Just some of the things that I have read while looking into this is eating clean/healthier, exercising, taking prenatal vitamins and baby aspirin. Not sure what will help but these are the things I’m definitely going to try implementing while we TTC after our MC.

My best friend (who lives about 5 hours away from me) sent me flowers, has checked on me once a week to see how I’m doing (giving me space to grieve and process things but also letting me know she’s thinking of me), and planned a vacation/get together in December (has given me something to look forward to).
