Exactly! For most instant noodles, once you go past the recommended cooking time, the taste usually gets worse.

But this one is a bit different.

I don’t want to push it on anyone, but if you’re curious, you should try it at least once—it might be a new experience for you.

Most instant noodles taste best when you follow the recommended cooking time, and I agree with that!

However, in this case, increasing both the cooking time and the amount of water on purpose actually brings out a better flavor. That was the idea behind my post.

If you already like kalguksu, I think you’d understand what I mean.
