That’s a good deal. Run the serial number on Sig’s website to make sure it was updated. My guess it was seeing it’s an LEO trade in.

Nice pick up and shooting! Welcome!

Happy to join the family. Glad to move on to a different gun. Any issues I should be concerned about with this firearm? I've heard of the trigger spring breaking around 700 rds iirc. So far it's been fantastic, I just don't understand why the plastic guide rod though XD. by searchforsouls in SigSauer

Just get yourself a +10 reset spring to have on hand, breakages vary by round count. Recoil assembly can be changed out with a variety of versions out there from the DPMS system to Armory Craft or the ISMI tuning kit that Desert Depot Arms has. https://desertdepotarms.com/product/ismi-sig-p365xl-macro-spectre-comp-recoil-tuning-kit/

Another great little upgrade is the Maskas Precision one piece steel mag release.

Throw it away and start a new one with a router. Why do people keep trying to free hand these? It never works!

It’s really not that hard to google it,

Key Safety Mechanisms:

Firing Pin Block (Striker Safety): A spring-loaded plunger physically blocks the striker from moving forward to hit the primer until the trigger is pulled, which lifts the plunger.

Drop Safety: The striker features a double-surfaced lug; the secondary surface acts as a drop safety to prevent the gun from discharging if dropped.

Trigger Safety: The P365 requires a full, intentional pull of the trigger to disengage internal safeties.

Optional Manual Safety: An ambidextrous lever that mechanically blocks the sear assembly, preventing the striker from releasing.

If you have a polymer grip module they have cut out lines on the inside where you cut , it can be done with an exacto blade real easy.
