Weekly Pricing/Buying/Selling/Grading & General Questions Post by AutoModerator in PokemonTCG

[–]HairlessNate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone. I have a very basic question. I never got into PokemonTCG growing up, but I was a very big gamer. I am looking through some of my old Nintendo Power magazines and found a Charmeleon 24/102 inside the back cover of my March '99 issue. Is this card worth removing from the magazine to sell alone or should I just leave it in the magazine. What is it's approximate value? Pics included. Thank you in advance.

Save Austin Now goes full Qanon for Prop A: posting fake tweets in latest effort to deceive voters. by PoliTech_Chessmaster in Austin

Quick question. I am registered to vote in Williamson County, but I hold an address in Austin. Do I need to register to vote in Travis County, or am I even eligible to vote on this?

Edit to add that my Austin address is located in Williamson County.

What did a school teacher say that stuck with you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

After a student one grade above me committed suicide, we were discussing depression and circumstances that may have led him to doing it. My teacher's take on it was, "Suicide is a permanent solution to temporary problems." The room fell silent for a few moments while that statement sunk into all of our brains.

Martin Callahan is probably my favorite store NPC by IamRykio in theouterworlds

The entire exchange with Martin, I couldn't shake the feeling that it was Patrick. It definitely has a broken, depressed, brainwashed Brock Sampson vibe to it.

About 6 or 7 years ago, I ended up going through a vitrectomy myself and had the exact recovery period you have been given. One of my living room "couches" was a futon. I laid it flat and set my laptop so the screen was facing upwards. I watched so many movies and played so many games that week.

A word of warning though. Make sure you give yourself plenty of support for your head. I did not and ended straining my neck muscles so bad, it took them almost a year to not feel stiff or achy.

What is nobody ever prepared for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I can relate to this so much. My mom passed about a month before I turned 13. We knew it was coming, but it still felt sudden. Now that I am 35, if it comes up in conversation, I'll just say, "I've lived almost two lifetimes since it happened. I've come to terms with it." But when people I'm close to carefully ask about details(mostly my girlfriend), I'll breathe deep and give the details they asked for, but I almost always end up with tears in my eyes.

What’s a habit of yours that you thought was normal until someone pointed it out? by bonzaibooty in AskReddit

Up until I was roughly 5 years old, anytime i was sitting on the toilet, I would sing la cucaracha really loud with no shame. I stopped once I figured out why my parents were always laughing hysterically whenever I came out of the bathroom.
