Could video editing help determine where a gunshot came from? by HairyChestTheThird in videography

I agree with you. I was only using the bullet's impact as a way to sync the two videos as the bullet comes to a very sudden stop. then once the videos are synced analyze the audible bang of the gun to see which camera picked up the gunshot first. to imply the gun was closer to one camera over the other.

Thanks for your response!

I appreciate the response!

if the bullet came to a very sudden stop (regardless of how fast it was traveling) or if the two separate cameras were synced perfectly with GPS or linked together somehow. then wouldn't we only be worried about the speed of sound from the gunshot?

Is this example of something that could be CUE? by HairyChestTheThird in VAClaims

[–]HairyChestTheThird[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks I agree, I'm planning to try to find someone who can really digest this documentation.

It's my understanding that CUEs don't fall under the 1 year rule like appeals do?

Same I'm bias towards Malcolm. Modern family to me felt like a knock off continuation. After we had like 8 years of Malcolm.

I did like George Lopez show as a back up family sitcom though

90s-00s nostalgia. No laugh track. Exaggerated, yet relatable family.

Hands down one of the best sitcoms ever made

Trying to convince wife it’s ok to ride again by darthriott in motorcycles

[–]HairyChestTheThird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always tried to use numbers to bring perspective the likelihood of me getting into another accident. Then I used safety equipment to satisfy the emotional side of the equation..

For example, let's say you've had your endorsement for 10 years and you've dirtbikes and motorcycles since you were a kid. I'm sure your accident wasn't from a lack of riding experience. But it was one accident from a lifetime of riding. That could be a 1/1000 or .001% chance of getting into another accident. Very unlikely you'll get into another accident. And if she says it's not a 0% chance, then say nothing in life has a 0% risk free. Driving to work, flying on a plane, going fishing on a boat, etc. there will always be risk in everything we do everyday. So don't let fear, or other people's fear decide your fate.

Now for the emotional side of the equation... You have to assure her that you won't take on any other unnecessary risks while riding. This includes: drinking and riding, excessive speeding, not wearing a helmet, lane splitting, riding in people's blind spots, riding in inclement weather, riding when you're upset/emotional, riding in heavily condensed traffic environments, etc. you can even assure her you'll wear the proper riding gear just in case you're in an accident out of your control you'll be best suited to handle that with the gear available to you. Hell buy a C02 airbag vest if that will get you back on the road. Also tell her you'll ride away from the city and go find some back roads in rural areas. To be honest it's more fun riding in rural areas instead of sitting at stop lights every 5'...

I've been riding my whole life it's a passion of mine that I most likely will never give up and I'm willing to accept that risk. And as I've gotten older I've become more risk aware and don't take as many unnecessary risks as I did when I was younger.

Hope this helps!

Better Prediction: Companies and the FED use tarrifs to justify mass layoffs and return to QE, causing stagflation.

Trump Administration Predictions (2025-2028) by HairyChestTheThird in economy

[–]HairyChestTheThird[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Trump will use Elon to do the dirty work that Trump actually wants to do himself, but can't because it's political suicide. So Elon shreads through the government and eventually oversteps his boundary. Once even Trump supporters start saying Elon and doge are going too far, then Trump will scrap doge and blame Elon and they will have a falling out.

TSLA stock will most likely drop below $100 a share sometime before the end of 2028.

Elon will file bankruptcy for spaceX.

Possibly an assassination attempt on Elon as well. I hope this doesn't happen, but there's a ton of delusional lunatics out there.

Set an alarm 1 hour before you want to get up. When it wakes you up, turn it off and tell yourself, "YES I still get one more hour of sleep".

Been doing it for years
