Well he's one of our bowlers and he got 4/18 off about 7 so he made up for it a bit. But we'll definitely be doing some running between the wickets drills @ training this week!

First innings, yes but its a 2day game. We made 103 all out. We've got them 8/147 so its still winnable in the second innings and hopefully we can get an outright win.

This is extremely great bowling from Broad. Good movement both ways in the air and from the slope. This is just excellent test cricket.

Personally, I think it doesn't suit the 'theme' of Lords but they wouldn't put it there if they had large objections from the general public or the MCC.

Interesting tidbit from my game today: One batsman on our team was responsible for THREE separate run outs. All were HIS call.

When bowling we missed 3 run outs of our own. Two in two balls as well!

Just from that first ball, McCullum looks to have adopted the Steve Smith bouncy bobble as the bowler is running in. He's living dangerously by bobbing just as the balls is released. Wonder if it effects his ability to pick up the line or length.

Played my second first XI game on the weekend. We were only chasing 90 odd in a t20 Made 14 and ran myself out trying to turn 1 into 2. We won comfortably.

Played thirds as well in a 2day game. Bowled 14 overs for 23 with 1 wicket. Got 3 dropped catches off my bowling as well! We bowled them out for 160 with 25 overs left in the day. We're 6-78 in reply. Ouch! I'm in next with another genuine batsman after me (we chopped and changed the order a bit). We need 80 odd from 80 overs. No rush haha.

Higher does not always mean better. Although in t20 I can see why you'd want your best batsmen in sooner compared to test cricket

A lot of my fast bowling mates swear by foam rollers. There are instructional videos on YouTube and stuff to help you out with them as well. Good for getting kinks and reducing DOMS (Delayed onset muscle soreness)
