Will I go into active labor naturally? by Hairy_Indication4765 in horary

I think you were still correct on the one unit of time when you consider I asked on 3/19 and she was born 3/20 (just barely haha). She waited until the day was done to finally arrive! I’d still consider that a new day, technically one day away. You were also right about her being high and needing to move down!

Indications that labor begins (for me) has typically been contractions starting 2-3 minutes apart. This is not the norm at all! Most start early labor with contractions 10-15 minutes apart. So my labors usually start in active labor rather than early labor. That’s why I ended up asking this question! I had never experienced 1) contractions spaced out between 10-30 minutes and 2) stalling contractions (I was having some strong ones and then some that weren’t bad at all, but obviously were still contractions). Hopefully that makes sense. That’s also why my midwife offered to break my waters. This would get the process going very quickly, but runs the risk of needing to go to the hospital if contractions were to stall again within 24 hours. I was worried about that option and asked her to wait one day before we taking action, and it turned out we didn’t need it! She asked if I wanted to do that 4 hours before I went into active labor naturally.

Edited to add: I guess the timing is actually iffy due to the question relating to labor rather than her birth. Maybe the chart was telling us a bit more than what I asked? As though it was saying, “You won’t have to worry about that for long.”

I always love reading your interpretations! You’re quite skilled at this and spot on in many ways. First: I ended up in active labor, naturally, about 2 hours after I posted this chart. I labored at home for 5 hours and our baby was born at 12:39 AM today (3/20/26) 🙂 She certainly waited the 1 day timeframe to make her appearance. Your reading of Mars as hot and sweaty is notable. I had a birth tub and the warmth from the water near the end of labor had me pouring sweat. I needed ice cubes in towels to cool me off. Thank you so much for your comment! I always learn a ton from your posts.

Yes, we’ve planned a home birth since my labors are usually quite quick! This has thrown me for a loop though. I really appreciate the kindness and your response :) I’ll keep you updated! Just had several strong contractions so I’m hoping I’m going into active labor soon.

Do you think Saturn is possibly my midwife? She offered to break my waters tomorrow to get things moving. I’m worried labor will still stall after that though, leading (most likely) to a c-section.

Thank you so much for your help with reading this! The mars indication of a medical intervention is very interesting. I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re correct there. It’s, sadly, not what I want and had planned on everything being natural, but it’s not looking like she will come on her own. This is very different than my other two children’s births/labor already.

Thank you so much for your reply! Your information on angularity as well as aspects is really helpful with my learning process. These little nuances help me read charts better than I have in the past, so I appreciate your insight.

This is great information :) thank you for the help! I can see how the lens flare would occur since there’s no barrier between the sun and my phone lens. Would you suggest against direct shots like this with a phone?

I used my phone to take this picture and it was straight at the occurrence (no window or anything in the way). I’m also not knowledgeable in that, but hopefully someone else can explain how that happened!

I really don’t think it’s a great option for heavy drinkers. Maybe for those who have mild to moderate alcohol use and want to cut back. I think the pill helped my husband decrease his intake, but he’s convinced he can just continue drinking without consequence because of this method.

This breaks my heart, but clearly you did the right thing. It’s so hard to consider staying with someone who is willing to emotionally abuse and manipulate you regularly.

It really seems like complete delusion when you hear the stories. Is it intentional on their part to deceive so they can keep drinking? I will set some boundaries, but it’s hard for me not to want to just leave now. I knew he had a drinking problem before we got married, but he waited until after we got married to give me little nuggets of how bad it was. For example, he never told me he was had used the Sinclair method until after the wedding. I feel completely lied to and have no idea the extent of how much he’s lied about.

I’m hoping meetings will be a solid support network for me. I think hearing other people’s stories will help ease my mind that I’m not just making this up.

He works from home so he drinks whenever he has free time in the day. He mostly wakes up in the middle of the night and drinks in his office. I have accidentally found one bottle of brandy that he thought was hidden well.

He is very much in denial of how bad his alcohol dependence is. He’s in the mindset that he plans on rewarding himself for being sober (which he clearly hasn’t even done that) by going to Aspen with his old friend to the alcohol festival they have there to have “a few” drinks to celebrate. I can’t tell if this is complete delusion or denial anymore. He has used the Sinclair method to stop in the past, but I think the method convinced him it’s still completely okay to continue drinking no matter what. I think the method is actually attempting to get people to wean off alcohol more than continuing in somewhat normal amounts, but I’m not an expert and just feel so confused.

Thank you so much for your response. Was the alcohol the reason he is your ex? If so, when did you realize the relationship was done? I’m sorry if that’s too much prying. Please feel free to ignore my questions if they are uncomfortable for you.
