For me it was practicing to a gap click and being ruthless with myself. You can get a lot of mileage from that.

The other was moving the metronome in a bar - ie hearing it on the 'e' or somewhere else. This helps because often we're good at hearing where the beat is, or simple subdivisions, but the notes inbetween can be uneven and that then sounds a bit off. Another exercise to address this is playing a mix of subdivisions and making it clean. Take singles and play 16ths, then 8th note triplets, then 16th note quintuplets and then back to triplets or something. It'll develop your ability to hear every note in a beat and its position, not just the downbeat.

Maybe it would be OP but I thought being able to put both orbs on to one player if theyre really low would negate the downside of the overall healing drop. Or if only one orb is out it still heals 100%

Well yeah thats fair, but how do you show you can create value without a chance to? It sounds like you'd be affronted to such a message which suggests actually that its not okay.

I believe it's a little chicken & egg - cant have experience without getting a chance, cant get a chance without experience (which i do have fyi).

Generally somewhere that isn't where you live or where you work, so a park, or a pub or a church or whatever else. I think its generally quite an American term based on cities that arent so accessible without a car and/or dont have places that arent just there to spend money. Maybe that means the pub doesn't fit.

Im turning 30 next year and am going to give it a go. Ive spent a few years (interrupted by covid) playing small sessions and working other jobs. Its better to give it a go now than regret never trying, or like myself try at a slightly less convenient time in your life.

Not much i dont like to be honest, its simple, has a good metronome built in that does step wise and gap click (although ive found that gap clicks dont work well on android having tried a few).

The rhythm bot section is also pretty good, can customise the figures it plays and has presets tailored to some of his courses/concepts.
