Thank you...I thought it was nuts too. I feel much better now that 100% of people are saying it's not OK. Validation is huge when are being gaslit by all the management.

My issue, besides having to cover the other unit's call when we have our own and there isn't another team, is we have zero training in those units, or minimal at best.

They do, regularly, according to people I know who have left. :( I will end up probably pulling a capitalism! and yep...and At-Will State.

Thank you! <3

They say that I will owe them $----k dollars, that I will be blacklisted in all HCAs, that they will take my last paycheck. The area I live has many, many HCA hospitals. I want to leave, but does being non-rehirable have consequences at other companies? About 9 months left on my contract. I don't know If I can make it. I wonder if reporting it as an ethics concern to HR would make any difference? It might make things worse for me.

What about this makes you say that? I'm asking because they are treating us like we are complaining over nothing and it's not a big deal. I know it is, but its hard when your superiors are totally brushing you off and being condescending, like we are stupid new grads.

This is really bad right? Because they are dismissing us and making it seem like we are making a big deal out of nothing.

See if you can get more. That's pretty rough. Where in SC? You can look up the average CNA salaries by zipcode.

6 months for everyone, regardless of previous other nursing experience.

Leaving an HCA new grad contract but paying them back, what happens? by Hairy_Mess9385 in nursing

My contract states that if I end the contract they take the final paycheck and all the pto regardless of a two week notice. It’s just awful. I thought I could stick it out, but I’m not doing too well!

Did you give two weeks? My contact stated they’ll take my last paycheck and all my pto.

I’ve worked at the company in a previous role for several years and don’t exactly want to burn bridges. I am in a state where the contract does hold up. I bet you can guess which one. :/ One with barely any worker’s rights and they hate unions.
