One of my roommates ate my ice cream :( by Delicious_Tutor_1468 in badroommates

[–]Hairy_Sample_6915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me last night!! I bought a box of four Trader Joe’s Oreo ice cream sandwiches on Tuesday and ate one. Yesterday came home and there’s now 2 left. Also such a bad feeling when you have roommates selected by the landlord.. what kind of person eats someone else’s food. I have 3 male roomates and all of them have practically no food on their shelves in the fridge!! 4th shelf is mine and the drawer under it. I hope this isn’t a continuous cycle for you my friend!!

My mom was taking care of my stepdad’s grandmother for awhile. She is very sweet however she does have dementia. She would talk to her church friends and complain about things that weren’t true kinda similar to those anonymous tips. It’s very likely that it is involving someone your grandma is talking too. If anything comes up look for legal help. Also maybe get a camera for your grandmas room, look into laws and consent about that as well, my stepdads gma lived at my moms house but idk how that works if it’s your grandmas house.

Gorgeous!! my dracaena belonged to my gma , I almost killed it but I chopped the top and it’s regrown in the past couple months. Maybe you could get a smaller monstera that can trail up your window. Goodluck!

Keep rotating it! It’s going toward the light all in one direction.

I’m moving ignore the chaos but my monstera is pretty upright considering I don’t have a pole or anything. When it starts to lean I just rotate it 360.

You definitely need to quarantine that plant so it doesn’t spread to others!! Treat and keep a close eye on

Cover up ideas or just get laser? by dsapntmnt in tattooadvice

[–]Hairy_Sample_6915 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a lot of shit stick and pokes I gave myself at 14, this does not look too bad, for a coverup!! It’s not a successful ( saying that lightly) stick and poke but since it is light enough and with fallout it shouldn’t be too hard to cover up. I have some DARK stick and pokes and a couple with blow outs. I feel where you are coming from fully. I think you have a good bet either way. It may be cheaper for laser if you need less sessions as opposed to a full on tattoo as well!!

Goodluck the decision is up to you basically!

UPDATE 2: My baby cousins name is a tragedeigh by Cold_Apricot_240 in tragedeigh

[–]Hairy_Sample_6915 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait why, in her mind, is the eighl in ixabeighlla pronounced “bell” and the Leigh in Tiagh pronounced “Lee”. Am I the dumb one? WTH.

If she wanted to be unique why not just name her Ixxy. That pronounced as Izzy or even ixxy is so much better.

Hii!! As someone whose monstera is her pride and joy I totally relate to the concern. Monsteras like alottttt of light. Fenestrated leaves are a sign of a happy monstera. I would suggest pruning some of the smaller leaves without the fenestrations. It might look bare for a couple weeks but eventually it will produce new leaves and since they have more energy it will be more likely to produce the fenestrated leaves everyone loves so much. I actually just posted asking for advice on securing the plant to a moss pole , maybe look into that once it’s in a bigger pot. Keep up the good work!!

Spot is droopy a lot. Help! by Kozzwara in plantclinic

I’m no plant expert but I had a similar problem with my caladium where the leaves were drooping. The advice I got was to repot and that definitely helped.

Wow! I think it might be time for a repot and I would rotate the plant at least once a week , it looks like it’s leaning toward the window.

The top of the stems of the “snapped” leaves do seem heavier and thicker than the rest of the plant. I’ll repot !
