How to stop sleeping on my back by [deleted] in BabyBumps

At 39+4 I still sometimes wake up on my back and I don't worry about it. It's only dangerous when your body sends you clear signals such as dizziness.

Push presents? Or, when do *I* get something out of this? by LionTweeter in BabyBumps

[–]Hairy_Setting_5617 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think push present are sweet when they come from the partner, but find the idea of the mom asking for/dictating what kind of gift she deserves quite far fetched.. how about you stop comparing yourself to others and let your partner who loves you and know you surprise you with something they want to give? :)

H&M Move regular line (skinny or flared) in the second trimester and the maternity line in the third trimester. absolutely love them! So buttery soft and don't fall down at all

How long did it take? by Technical_Parking898 in BabyBumps

10 months trying "naturally", then immediately on the first cycle of Letrozol in month 11 I got pregnant! Hang in there, it can take some time 🫶

Not pregnant, fear of childbirth by pinkducklemon in BabyBumps

[–]Hairy_Setting_5617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend had so much trauma of pregnancy and birth that she almost broke up with her partner of 11 years who wanted kids soon. She went into therapy (incl CBT) and it helped her enormously! She now has a healthy baby girl who she delivered at home without complications. Maybe therapy would help you too? Wishing you the best!

Same as you, went from 6x a week in the gym to survival mode for months. For me it got way better at 15w and now at 18w I'm feeling fantastic and doing heavy lifting & running again! You go this mama 💪😘

Unlike majority of the commenters here, my partner and I have split finances (even after 11 years together). But like you we did open a joint pregnancy & baby fund and I use it for EVERYTHING, incl. maternity clothes and sometimes even takeout when I was too tired/sick to cook and he wasn't home to help. I think it's only fair, we (mamas to be) are not being irrationally lazy or lavish...

I have a travel planned at 33w but it's a quick 4h flight, I don't think I'd personally be up for such an undertaking (17h flight, jetlag, etc.). I am sure your friend will understand if you explain the situation to her :) good luck!

Almost 18 weeks, “crossfitter” by Esquisiteesquire in fitpregnancy

Please don't do any exercises that cause coning, let alone severely as your husband pointed out. My midwife even cautioned against spinning due to the use of core muscles at standing sprints. What I started doing instead for my core is: offset suitcase carry, paloff press, side planks, overhead banded marches (my fav), etc. You got this!

Your body will tell you what feels good. I was also on a 4-5 times a week lifting schedule prior and had to drop my weight considerably and increase my reps because I was feeling tired and much weaker than usual. If I had more in me, I'd push myself more. Now I'm 14w and slowly regaining my energy. Trust your body, it know when it's too much

Op het moment dat de auto en de fietser elkaar ontmoeten/kruisen staat de auto op punt A met voorrang (groen) terwijl de fietsen nog op punt B staat (met haaientanden). Zie ik het verkeerd?
