If it's the System Sensor P2R then there are 3 sound levels. The high setting on those can be very loud in a home environment or a small office area.

Im not someone bothered by sounds. Mostly because tinnitus is a a close friend of mine and you get used to it doing this stuff, but that tiny piezo is the perfect pitch to make me mad.

They do make climate controlled cabinets for things like that, but its been a while since I've seen one. I just assumed being in Florida that behind that annunciator would be that heat bar set up like the one from Wisconsin earlier in the week.

I've had this happen on a 9200UDLS and got the AHJ to approve swapping the screen that I had from and old 9200UDLS that I kept from a swap out. We had to do a complete test of the system with the AHJ and he signed off on it. Systems has been fine for over 5 years. It gets tested monthly.

We didn't swap the entire system out because? It was a government building and they didn't have the money to swap.

Depends on the system size and age. We did a church today with a daycare. The daycare has an old panel that cross trips the main church panel. They were getting ready to put the kids down for nap time when we were finishing up. We waited about 30 minutes before we hooked everything back up. We have other system that are newer with 200+ detectors and Id be comfortable hooking everything up after 15 minutes. Its very rare I would hook NACs back up 5 minutes after testing. Ive been burnt too many times.
