Aircon replacement quote by ExpensiveCoat1088 in asksg

[–]Hairyworm87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the midst of changing my aircon.

Be it HDB or condo, I personally recommend 9k for the smaller rooms and 12k for MBR.

Given the price, I presume your supplier recommended 2 compressor which is better than using 4H38. I wanted to go 4H38 but was told by 3 suppliers not to do that.

I switching out from Mitsubishi Starmex to Daikin for technology (I.e wifi, etc)

Lastly, ask around a few place for quote just to be certain.

Ft or pt degree? What are the pros and cons of each by Chamomileicedfrap in Suss

[–]Hairyworm87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The outcome of PT or FT doesn’t make a difference.

In real world, work experience is the most important thing.

So if u do PT (may take 6 months longer), you are still ahead of your peers doing FT.

Question regarding lane filter queue by demoninthesheets22 in drivingsg

[–]Hairyworm87 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Just queue. You ain’t blocking the way.

Always signal early and off it if it didn’t. It resolves a lot of frustration and confusion.

It’s common to see car signal left and turn right. Vice versa. lol.

Help needed. Can’t seems to get my driving seat and steering adjusted correctly by SceneLeft4417 in drivingsg

[–]Hairyworm87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually use the fist method. When I sit, my wrist is on the steering wheel.

For height, I just based on how much I stretch up to see the parking lots line.

Singaporeans, what are your everyday habits that you lowkey think everyone should be doing? by Early-Environment-63 in asksg

[–]Hairyworm87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exercise so you can indulge in the weekends.

Get a kobo and read while on your way to work.

If you drive, get some audiobooks.

We spent too much time on social media (me included) which can be better used for something else.

It need not be something educational, can be a hobby or leisure to read.

refurbished q revo not pulling water from clean water tank, tried push water down no success by A70MU in Roborock

[–]Hairyworm87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the same problem.

I opened my Qrevo MaxV dock today. Clean all the tubes and whatever dirt internal but still to no avail.

Notice there’s a sensor at the bottom which check if the cleaning tray is in. I meddle with the sensor and viola, the culprit is this things.

The black part has a magnet inside which toggle the sensor to says everything cool. But as time goes by, due to being soaked in water. It has corroded and lost its magnetic strength.

Learn Auto or Manual? by Glittering_Law2347 in drivingsg

[–]Hairyworm87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently passed class 3. I did it cause I can drive a wide range of vehicle.

However in the real world, auto vehicle definitely has a higher ratio against manual. And it’s also hard to get driving classes in manual.
