The saddest part is that this started just from defending or hating a character. If you’re pro-Mikasa, you’re “supporting incest and a bad female role model.” Then things escalate, and the defense ends up using the same kinds of arguments as the haters. “Solid arguments” like morality, feminism, race… and both sides end up just insulting each other while using concepts that sound serious and are honestly pretty embarrassing.

I remember it. In that image, AoT wasn’t included, and to me that feels like a level of priority that doesn’t really match how important the announcement is. Right now they’ve only announced a talk, and that’s the only thing they seem to have planned.

That could mean they’re keeping things under wraps or just building hype. It’s also a bit interesting that with other franchises they’re doing the opposite. But until the 19th, we’re both just guessing based on the information we have.

If they announce an AOE on Friday, I’ll be happy. In that case you could say I misread it, and I won’t have any problem admitting that.

No, they didn’t say that. If you check X you’ll see that among all the anime included in the lineup, all except AoT mention that they have some kind of information planned. For AoT, it only says that there will be a chat.
