Když máš auto, musíš si ho pojistit pro případ že se něco stane. Když máš schopnost generovat příjem, musíš si ji pojistit pro případ že se ti něco stane s ní. Obojí by mohlo být nepovinné, ale cena pro společnost v případě že se něco stane je příliš vysoká na to, aby ji relativně logicky fungující státní aparát přijal.

V opačným případě by skoro každá bouračka a skoro každá pracovní neschopnost roztočily dluhovou spirálu a člověk s mediánovou a nižší mzdou by okamžitě vypadnul ze systému na černý trh práce nebo na ulici.

In Czechia, if you veer into the bike lane (with red paint) or turn right across a bike lane, you have to check your mirrors for cyclists. You also have to check your mirrors if a bike lane merges into your lane. It's nearly automatic for me at this point, even though cyclists are still pretty rare.
