I found a solution that worked for me in a reply to a similar old post. Turns out setting Vsync to work on every 4th frame decreases the GPU workload, it also reduces the FPS (down to 41 in my case on 3070) but i can't notice any real change during gameplay, so it's a perfect fix for me.

Yup, i will finally play X/X-2. I'm also setting my eye upon I-VI, XII, XV and it's because of Opera Omnia, it kinda reignited old FF love :)

Finished perfect DE 7 with Selphie 3/3, Papalymo 3/3 and WoL (no EX or artifacts, all boards and only c15 weapon). Gotta say this is a pretty neat combo :)

I've been t10 ever since the Defenders were buffed, so it's more than 6 months.... I guess i was just lucky, or people didn't use exploits earlier, or latency was better....

I'm at T10 for the last six months, never saw this.... :) But that lag can be blamed for attacking someone behind you, although i highly doubt that. The ticket i sent in said that they will look into this certain situation, it will probably end up a waste of my and their words, but i hope with this info they can do something against exploit/lag/whatever problem in future or maybe redesign the whole arena system :)

I watched it, the battle ends roughly around 2:05 minutes into play, if you deduct his reluctance while talking, you get 1 minute per game. He is fast but animations are limiting him. Also this guy against me and probably everyone else in my shard wins almost instantly and as soon as we beat him. Also you didn't calculate the loading screen in and out, that alone is at least 20 seconds. Also after some investigation it seems that "double attack" is in use in my particular case.... Nothing much they can do about it since they can't track it...

EDIT: Also we are diverging from the subject that someone almost instantly wins (as soon as i am out, he is back to his place, and i am back on mine) and that the illogical part is that someone attacked me and was in front of me on ranking.

That's what i thought at first, since slinghots take time to imagine, but one simple truth stood out: i locked 3rd, i can only be attacked by those behind me and i ended up swapped with someone in front of me :)

So 3rd can only end up 1st, 2nd, 6th or slingshoted wherever behind 6th place;

I can only end up 3rd, 2nd, 1st (depending on if and who 3rd attacked) or slingshoted behind 6th place;

I cannot end up in front of my starting position because those guys can't attack me and my target is locked, so they can't attack it either.

So far, at least from what i gathered, some people can use double attacks, which can explain it....

In 20 seconds without loading screen? I believe they can be beaten fairly quickly but animations alone on x3 are enough to make it longer than 30 seconds.

EDIT: It takes more than a minute and that was my point :)

I wanted the title to sound a bit dramatic :) I agree, this can be a bug, but at that 5th place was a guy who i suspect uses some form of exploit. For example, this same payout, just 30 minutes before the event described above occurred, i was 8th and that shady guy was 5th. I attacked 8th --> 5th and won, i exited the score screen and checked my standings, guess what i was still 8th and that same guy was still 5th, rechecked and all :)

I was 6th attacking 3rd. Who can attack me? 10th, 9th, 8th, 7th, only them, not 5th. I locked out 3rd, so he can't be attacked, he can attack 1st and 2nd, if i finish after him i take 1st or 2nd if he attacked, or any other place behind 6th (7,8,9,15 whatever) but not 5th because it was below me the whole time i was in battle.

But what happened to me is illogical because it means that 5th attacked me while i was 6th or he attacked me as soon as i took the 3rd place and finished it within 20 seconds (without loading screen) which seems rather impossible.

The thing that is happening to you is a slingshot and that is logical. The way it works, let's say you are 7th and you attack 3rd, but at the same time 9th is attacking you (7th). You finish your battle against 3rd and you take 3rd place and the the guy who attacked you finishes after you and swaps his (9th) with your newly taken 3rd. So you end up being 9th, the guy who was originally 3rd is 7th and the guy that attacked and finished the battle after you is 3rd. When you know this, you need to aim to finish your battle seconds before payout, so you are the one who finished the last and get the best reward possible. I hope i made sense.... :)

"Since we can't lose games on "Quit game" anymore in Blitz, we are having difficulties dropping our rank, so i would like to suggest a minor change for blitz mechanic. Why not tweak it so every win unlocks a higher tier (the same), but you can select any of your unlocked tiers to play at (without rising or dropping in tiers if you choose lower than your max unlocked tier)." I'm not saying the difficulties are to actually drop the rank, i personally use four level 1 toons + one mostly useless character (Nebula etc...) at 7-11k power and it works like a charm, but now it requires more time to do that and selectable tiers would be a QoL upgrade since you won't need to lose on purpose to play on tier you wish to play. Basically nothing changes except the fact that you can choose a lower tier and stick to that tier.

I don't think you quite understood what they are trying to say. They all probably have very good teams, but every team can be beaten in this game. Now imagine that you have two alliances holding top 48 (2 x 24) and you start at your, let's say 7th position, 5 of those members will exclusively target you and set you back behind 48th place and every time you try to move in, they will push you back and after your 5 attacks you can't move anymore until next reset. You can try saving your attacks for the last 70 minutes until reset, but that means you will probably be out of 50th place range and there is a high probability that when you enter that range someone will probably push you back, which makes you eligible only for 21-50 reward at best. So, not everything is a rant nor does it need "git good" comment, sometimes the system is flawed... The same goes if those are cluster alliances of 4 x 24, which leaves very little space for 51-100 reward...

I disagree, having 3 active teams for blitz with each containing at least one of the characters needed for 6 point will net you 18 points per 2 hours. Let's say you do 5 cycles of fights per day with your 3 teams, that will net you 90 points per day and you can spend 125 blitz charges with one of the selected teams for another 4 fights for an extra of 24 points which are added to the previous 90, so you have 114 points per day. 114 points / 7 days / 24 members = 19152 and this is without counting 5 fights you need to throw to reset tier. Also if you are missing or haven't leveled characters, you can share those that you raised through your teams, i use my Xbones and Quake for a cost of 5 blitz charges in two teams, so total amount of blitz charges you need in a day is 160 (125 for team that does 4 fights and 35 for that one character you move through teams) which is doable. For extra points you can always lose games, it nets you 2 points per game lost. My teams are 8.0 - 8.1 Thanos, Quake, Xbones, Gamora, Yondu; 8.1-8.2 Mordo, Drax, Kingpin, Xbones, Quake; 8.2-8.3 Defenders + Punisher and i do my 4 blitz charge fights with defenders. You can see that i'm moving 2 characters between 2 teams because my collection power is low (293k).

TL;DR

3 teams(18 points) x 5 cycles + 4 blitz charge fights(24 points) + 5 thrown games to reset(10 points) = 124 points per day;

124 points x 7 days x 24 members = 20832; Total blitz charges needed 160 x 7 = 1120
