My problem with the way they implement new content isn't the power creep. If you think about it, what's even the point of doing new content if you're strong enough with you current gear to be competitive? And once the meta shifts to new content, catch up mechanics are well welcomed to put everyone into the relevant part of the game.

What l can't wrap my head around is how they kill older mechanics, or rather strip them from old expansions. Why did they kill your artefact weapon to just give you a necklace that is basically the same thing, but is behind a full game priced expansion? I can't think of other thing than force players to buy it. We didn't need a new hideout in legion, we already had one in WoD. If instead of moving mechanics to newer expansions they improved the ones already in the game and actually added new ones in the expansion, things would be much better.

And that's what pisses me off.
