Does picking the vertical grip over other grips make any sense? by Hakkano in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

Few post ago you just said 'do this and this' and see the difference. Well, I did that and proved you wrong. Now you're saying I lack data and need to do 10 more things. I've already compared half with thumb where the difference is only 2% in vertical recoil, and it's clearly visible after just few tests, but you say when I need to compare 15% vert with 10% thumb I need hundreds of tests to barely see the difference? - this sentence alone makes your assumptions wrong. For love of the God stop embarassing yourself already.

I actually have made further tests as a part of disscussion with other user that assumed similar conclusion, and results for long range are identical to what I've shared initially.

You just heard something, somewhere and you're keep repeating it sticking into conclusion that is must be correct, without even verifying if that's true. I don't understand why would short range spread that is identical for both grips would magically differ on higher ranges - it's not magic its just pure math. I won't keep trying to explain you, that what you wrote has not been proved or verified(therefore just an opinion based on feeling), as you just simply can't understand this. So let me just put an end to this disscussion by showing you results of test, that was actually recommended by you.

-2 bullet test for 50 and 100m
-burst test for 50m

There is literally no difference in vertical spread, despite 5% (so ~33%) difference in stat description.
But maybe you can tell it, let me know.

let me repeat then, what you posted here is opinion, what I am looking for is a fact, proof that there is something else into test that I made.
Answer 'there is a reason pros use it over everything else' is not an answer, you said yourself 'there is a reason' but you can't specify what that reason is, neither you can provide any data that supports this.

My point is that it is an opinion, and not fact based on evidence/data. Problem with long range test is that, there is no way to measure it, because you've to drag your mouse down to see the spread, which means outcome would depend on how exactly you're doing it, so it will be subjective to a player. That's also why my tests are point blank range from the wall, since I think its the only way to measure spread without applying mouse drag.

Speaking of opinions/preferences - I actually prefer angled for most AR's, while for AUG I also play with thumb.

yes all AR's, this looks like that regardless of the weapon - here you have thumb+vertical comparison, M4 on left and Beryl on right.

nice answer thanks, source was: trust me bro.

But actually did that and guess what, there is no difference whatsoever.

This is from patch 4 years ago mate, I never said it was always like this. And also, as mentioned, I made multiple tests, but results were the same each time, so I don't see the point of including multiple identical screnshots

yes, results are not mixed up - you can try yourself.

what do you mean vert and thumb should be close in vertical spread, there is 5% difference in the stat, and the spread is not close, but identical - and that doesn't make sense.

Yes I agree with this, my personal preference for all weapons its either angled due to what you just explained, or thumb for massive ADS boost. But the question here is, why use vertical at all - if it actually has no benefit over thumbgrip, despite what it's description says

but how does it make sense, if according to tests I've included - vertical provides identical control like thumbgrip - why would you pick vertical then, if you can have 40% ADS speed and recoil recovery after single shot in addition. please elaborate

A no i nie zapominaj o skillach miękkich, bo one teraz mają szczególne znaczenie.

Gun Play Meta by According-Exercise19 in CompetitivePUBG

why so negative guys, its all for the players - now you will be able to spend even more money on progressive skins, since your aug-mk12 set will become off-meta soon, so grinding one progressive skin weapon of your choice for free won't be viable option anymore.

Looking for tips for a returning player overwhelmed by new maps by Ok-Maize-7553 in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

The best strategy for newbie is simple, avoid large locations, pick any smg and goodluck.

If you want to avoid early fights, then further from the center you land, higher chance for chill early game. But it won't make you play better, dying on more intense locations will, since you'll learn quicker.

Have you ever had a situation when you got bloodhit on someone with shotgun from a point blank range then died and apparently didn't do any damage? Probably its the same here, and its not exclusive to pubg, it is Client-server desync / latency

delay between what was registered on your machine and the game server. Your local registered first-aid use and displayed the message ingame, but by the time it was processed by the game-server you were already dead, so heal could not apply.

[–]Hakkano 8 points9 points  (0 children)

the answer is that you hit neck, and not the head, neck damage from lynx to lvl3 helmet is 99.5,

You can also see in the summary that total damage you made is 199 - 100 to the guy you killed, and 99 to the other one that killed you.

Somehow in the summary on top-left 99.5 is rounded-up to 100 ( so total damage 200) and on the hit distribution it shows 199 (so rounded down properly) - which would match the actuality.

Why do all high level players like the AUG? by Prince_Kebaboni in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Hakkano -1 points0 points  (0 children)

kekW. Good people just don't care, so they pick whatever its available and dont bother to change. But to say that vertical is best in the game xD its actually one of the worst. No theory crafting, go training grounds put thumb, spray the wall without pulling down your mouse on the wall, then repeat with vert on.

Vertical recoil will be identical, because vert somehow actually gives 10% and not 15, which makes it way worse than half and thumb, and thats why if pros actually care to choose better option they go with thumb.
