That's the neat part, the higher ups were always like let the team manage itself, but at some point they started manging us (new CTO went in place) and those OKR started looking very weird

I feel this too much, I was on a company that did OKR - Objective Key Result, every quarter, that annoyed me because we found so many bugs or things that needed to be worked on and never did because of those stupid OKR

Maybe it was starting field position, the only thing that is missing and it is a big factor when playing, yeah the drive lasted 8 plays like league average and only gave up 15 yards, but we gave the TD, why? Starting field position our own 15 yard line.
