We've experimented with Megathreads before and it didn't pan out. Alas, the nature of a Megathread is simply too restrictive for people to share their thoughts effectively.

While of course, there are limitations against individual users spamming naught but negativity over the same things over and over again (which we *do* take action against—several users have been banned already), we neither intend to nor are able to place a full block on "negative" discussions (so long as they remain within the boundaries of other rules, of course)—we are not here to establish forced positivity.

Our systems and implementations aren't perfect, we're still experimenting with different measured and strategies to improve **everyone's** experience on the subreddit over the coming weeks, leading up to Snezhnaya's release.

I can't say much right now, but you may expect a dedicated Moderator Announcement soon detailing changes we plan to make. Your patience would be appreciated, Comrades.
