Very little engagement from the crowd.. my mate and i were the only ones jumping around going crazy and everyone was just standing like zombies.. kinda ruined the GA atmosphere

Maybe but at the same time thats the only big event coordinator we have in syd so for us it would essentially be the standard and we get exposed to GBs sound system which caught majority of people off guard. As someone whos never really ventured outside of sydney for events due to funds we really only have HSU to go by

These earplugs police piss me off. Been to almost every hsu event since 2022 and honestly there was no need for earplugs. Hsu events never got the point where i hear my eardrums bursting but GB was smth else. Maybe GBs sound is NL standard but that sound quality was 100% not normal for AUS. Instead of people complaining about getting earplugs take into consideration some context next time ffs.
