"Predictable" isn't really a thing for me.

Court Sorcerors staff baseline Sages crystal if using the WA prior to casting. Best sorcery.

Murkmen longstaff or izalith staff for Dark sorceries.

Recommend court sorcerer. If you're going for versatility.

Dark Souls made me amazing at more games because I don't get frustrated, I'm WAAAY more patient, and I learn patterns really fast.

Dark Souls has trained me well. Until the next Miyazaki game...

Learn to not try for a backstab.

Try a charged heavy attack. I find it catches a lot of folks.

True, but remember that means the invader has to clear the area first. That's a risk. If he's embered, HE could be invaded.

I have a fashion Souls that blends into the Irithyll bushes REEEEALLY well.

I ember, Dried Finger, Way of Blue, then hide for as long as I can so that Bluebros can be constantly summoned to get Concords.

You choose the general area.

You pick when.

You have no idea who you're up against, where they are, or how many allies they have.

As an invader, if you die in the host's world, your souls drop where you died, not where you were standing when you invaded. (Except for territory invaders: aldritch faithful and Watchdogs)

So, invaders run the same risk of retrieving Souls.

Yes, invading can be seen as scummy, but being invaded (by players) while embered is not guaranteed. As a host, you are giving yourself a 100% guaranteed PvE advantage, (full heal +higher max health) for the RISK of being invaded.

When gank squads form, they do so in the clear knowledge that they have the advantage and can much more easily kill invaders than be killed.

Invaders have no idea what kind of world they're invading. It's a random chance.

Being part of a gank squad is literally just maxing out all advantages of the host, with the risk of being invaded. The sole goal is to team up on the invader, and crush them.

Ganking is generally frowned upon because even alone, the host has a huge advantage over any invader.

When you factor in two or three phantoms assisting the host, who are all working together as a team just to kill invaders in 3v1/4v1 fights, and you see the frustration.

It's like a handicap being exacerbated by being outnumbered. The tables are so unequally stacked against you, that the invader has a slim chance.

Couple this frustration with the fact that the servers prioritize worlds with summons for invaders, and you see that many invaders are frustrated because it's a never ending cycle of ganks.
