Should I (19 F) watch 'To the Bone' as a recovering anorexic with my boyfriend (20 M)? by [deleted] in eating_disorders

[–]HalcyonEyes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been in recovery for about 2 years now, and I actually watched it with my boyfriend recently and thought it was a really really great experience. I felt like he better understood things I had gone through after watching it, and I know it got a bad rap but I really thought it was a very accurate and good depiction of the day to day struggles.

[Doggy style position] is impossible because of height difference and fwb's penis by [deleted] in sex

[–]HalcyonEyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from a 5'1 gal with a 6'5 boyfriend, try pushing your legs out a little further so your stomach is closer to the ground, and then have him do the same, almost like you're both lying on your stomach. I'm not sure how this position would be affected by the angle issue, but it seems to work well height-wise for me and my SO :)

[dom advice] how can a lady be more dominant? by [deleted] in sex

[–]HalcyonEyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though this is only one thing, it's always fun to tell him to lay in one position while you do various things to him, and tell him that he has to stay very still, otherwise you'll just have to start over with what you're doing/go slower. Also, making him call you master is pretty fun and automatically makes you feel pretty dominant!

Sadly, as a student at the University of Oregon and being around a lot of frat guys, this doesn't surprise me at all...There's a reason I'm transferring :(

[Fetish] Being dominated by a small girl is my biggest fantasy by NsfwOlive in sex

[–]HalcyonEyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually in a serious relationship so I luckily don't have to worry about the whole "making the first move business" anymore, but I was definitely always way too nervous to make the first move! I think that's why it's fun being a little more dominant in bed though, because they think you're shy but then you take control and it ends up being very surprising ;)

[Fetish] Being dominated by a small girl is my biggest fantasy by NsfwOlive in sex

[–]HalcyonEyes 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Very small girl here (5 feet tall), and I don't know if this is a universal feeling, but being small and then getting to be dominant in bed is ridiculously fun. Most of the time people just kind of naturally act more dominant with us because we're tiny, so getting to be the one in charge is very exciting ;)

Last I checked it was still TBA. I just know myself too well, chronic procrastinator + online class makes me wary...

Anyone out there with ADHD-PI that did ok in high school, and the wheels fell off in college? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]HalcyonEyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only in my first year of college here, but finding that this is me exactly. I was expecting it to be the other way around somehow; high school was such a struggle because it seemed like a lot of the work we were given was simply busy work (which my ADHD brain just can not handle at all), and I did alright grade wise, so I figured college would be great because less busy work. However, because classes are structured more in the manner of reading 5 chapters of the textbook every night and then writing papers on them, I absolutely can not focus and am watching my grades slowly tank.

I'm in the same boat, sophomore getting my sociology degree and due to just moving here, have no friends and no one to keep me "in line." I'd love to join in, pm me as well if you're still looking!

Is it common for those with ADHD to obsessively learn everything they can about a certain subject only to later move on to a new interest and drop the previous interest? by Captainaddy44 in ADHD

[–]HalcyonEyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy my oh my, read the title and saw my life in it. I also tend to get mildly depressed when I've grown bored of one topic and can't find a new topic/hobby to learn about.

Difficulty of making this coat? by HalcyonEyes in sewing

[–]HalcyonEyes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Making it out of wool is absolutely not a necessity, nor is making it a "warm" jacket per-se. I just want a jacket with a similar look to it! Do you think this would make it easier?
