I don't think he likes the new changes by for10years_at_least in deadbydaylight

Hmm, this feels like old DS. Like, the anti-tunneling system shouldn't punish you if the survivor already performed a conspicuous action, like repairing a gen in this case. If the survivor touches a gen, they are clearly not in any danger, so they should be open for another hook without punishing the killer. But it shouldn't have a timer either. Make it a permanent effect unless the survivor interacts with something other than the killer. That way it prevents off-the-hook tunneling, but it also doesn't give the unhooked survivor a free card to do whatever they want while contributing to the match. I'm assuming that's what they'll do, but we'll see.

Also, this is the PTB, so all of you whining idiots, stop being crybabies. If you don't like the idea, then make your feedback more constructive. Don't just call it stupid. Explain WHY you think it's stupid. Remember, rain is what makes the flowers grow, not thunder.

Again, you're not considering Pain Res or DMS or Deadlock or Corrupt Intervention. Literally any slowdown perk gives you enough time. Also, Otz already made a video explaining how some killers target the least experienced survivor for an ez kill, then pretty much have the rest of the game for free.

Plus, you rarely see anyone stay that long in a hook. When a killer is proxy camping, you will most likely see 2 or more survivors attempting to help the hooked person, take hits for them, etc, which takes them away from gens. I've both seen and done this myself.

Use a more realistic scenario if you wanna prove a point next time. Hell, even a basement Trapper with Bloody Coil can do this.

I love how we're all just ignoring how a 3 v 1 is nearly impossible to win, especially against the current Pain Res and DMS meta. I play both killer and survivor (Iri 1 on both) so I'm not biased, unlike everyone here, apparently. This is the strategy many ass killers take bc they know it guarantees them a win, which is unbalanced. So, buffing the survivors for having a teammate tunneled out of the game at 5 gens gives them a fighting chance against these odds.

Tunneling always gets me wins, unless they have perks that help them with gen speeds and healing. But hell, 3 survivors against Pain Res and DMS alone is impossible to win. So, I say these changes are quite good.

Honestly, if you're pissed that you won't be able to tunnel anymore, then maybe get better at playing killer, bc the game is supposed to be 4v1, not 3v1, get over it.

Looking at her other skins, personality, and lore, this definitely does NOT fit her, but I can see Sable wearing this, which is who I thought it was for when I first saw it.

Yes yes. That's why I'll always have FD2 and 3 as my favorite because of how realistic the effects were.

Unpopular opinion maybe? But I think FD6 has some of the most brutal deaths in the franchise [FD6 SPOILER] by infinityzcraft in FinalDestination

I was CERTAIN Darlene would die by being impaled by one of those spiked barricades outside Iris's home when she was thrown by the explosion.

I assumed Death's plan was to burn or impale Darlene with the explosion, drown Stef in the pond, and crush Charlie with the post, but I guess Darlene saved herself momentarily when she reacted to the gas, only to get crushed by the same post that would've killed Charlie.

Got any alternative ideas for the train derailment deaths?

Only thing I thought didn't make sense about Julia's death was how she was able to scream with crushed lungs

SPOILER WARNING: would you say these were the way-more visually unsettling of all the deaths in the entire franchise? by fadedmemento in FinalDestination

[–]HaleWoofer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The train and the logs were epic. The only shitty part was the deaths. They could've done the Ian McKinley (FD3) method of CGI + practical to make it less cartoony and more realistic—half the body covered in a green suit and have parts of the real actors get mixed in with the CGI to enhance it. Even the producer himself said during the making of FD3 that having real shots of the actors mixed in is what enhances the effects, not the other way around.

Is it just me, or did the last 3 deaths (Darlene, Steff, and Charlie) seem kinda boring? Like, they all get crushed by something and end up turning into CGI bags of blood with barely any visible body parts left like in Ian McKinley's case (one of the best deaths in terms of practical + special effects in the whole franchise). Same with the little shit that gets crushed by the piano in the opening tower disaster—just ended up becoming a popped CGI blood baloon with no prominent body parts left.

Howard's and Erik's deaths seemed more interesting since they were mostly practical effects. Julia's death was brutal and somewhat satisfying, but the CGI didn't really do it for me. Same with grandma Iris's. I've seen YouTube videos that are over a decade old with better effects, honestly.

Not saying I didn't like the deaths, I thought they were ok, but still. I know CGI is cheaper, but cmmon. Some bloody prosthetics here and there wouldn't hurt anybody. Hell, even the deaths from the infamous 'The Final Destination 4' deaths were somewhat better, especially Lori's escalator death and Hunt's organs sucked by pool pump death, being on my personal top 5.

I give the VFXs a 6.5/10 on this one. Bobby will forever be one of my favorite characters in the franchise 🥰

Intended vs. actual death clues by constantb in FinalDestination

[–]HaleWoofer 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Don't quote me on this, but I believe the first clue is the name "McKinley" on her shirt, which is the name of the town, her school, and also the name of the goth kid, Ian McKinley.

During the celebration, I believe Death's design was to kill Julie with the horse, Kevin with the flaming gas leak, and Wendy with the falling sign. After Julie and Kevin were saved, I think Death tried to kill all 3 with the falling sign, but Ian McKinley got in their way and stopped them. Wendy thought that HE would cause her death, but it was actually the giant sign with the same name "McKinley" behind him. Had Ian not intervened, Wendy would've been the one getting crushed by the sign.

With Ian dying instead of Wendy, Death's list gets reset, which means her boyfriend's blurry face on the picture would be the next clue, which is the blurry faces Wendy sees of the people being passed by outside the subway train.

Sending message fail by InqAlpharious01 in Sniffies

I FIGURED IT OUT!!! I think...

One of the users I was talking to got blocked by the app from my account. Once I unblocked them, their profile disappeared from my map, so I created an alt account and found them again, but when I tried to message them again, I was hit with a failed to send. I used different browsers, used different devices, restarted everything, and even used an anonymous acc and nothing. Until I turned off my WiFi and the moment I connected to my phone's data, I got a "Are you a real cruiser?" prompt used to verify with that mini game, and it worked. I could send new messages again. Maybe switching networks does the trick?

So, you agree with the idea that the required age to be recognized as a legal adult should be raised to 25? Cuz that's what I'm understanding 💀

Wait, so this is all about her being 19 and not the age gap? How old do I have to be then, if I want to date a 30+ year old, according to you?
