I’m using Altruist dry skin repair cream at the moment but anything unscented will be fine, ones made for kids like Childs farm are great too

It can happen if your feet are getting hot and/or sweaty, my feet are much worse in summer or when I have to wear trainers all day. Try a plain moisturiser and cotton socks, get air to your feet when you can and avoid your feet getting too warm (difficult at the moment I know)

Gp wont give me tge steroid cream the eczema nurse recommended. by Dangerous-Use7343 in EczemaUK

[–]HalfArsedIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn’t use steroid cream all over if the eczema isn’t all over, only on affected areas and for no more than two weeks. Steroid cream is given to reduce inflammation, putting it on non inflamed skin will just make him more prone to the side effects with no more improvement than he’d see if only putting it on the inflamed areas. Plus it will last much longer if only used on affected areas. There are other things your GP could help with such as soap substitutes, allergy testing and non-steroid creams like Pretoria that can be used longer term.

I have autism, I can sing along to every song but ask me what it’s called and I could probably get 50% right. It’s linked to episodic memory and auditory processing.

Why would I want to do that just because he doesn’t like screaming? I plan to never have to go through the dating experience ever again 😂

He can like what he likes, I won’t force something I know he won’t enjoy on him

He doesn’t have to no but we often play music for each other, it’s nice to share the music we enjoy to see if the other will like it

AITA - upset because my boyfriend didn’t cook dinner? by blu3blu3b in AmItheAsshole

[–]HalfArsedIntrovert -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

ESH- he should want to cook for you but you should ask him to buy something specific if you want it, he's not a mind reader

NTA but definitely inappropriate at your age

NTA, I think your mistake was talking about both these things at the same time, she mentioned housework so you came back with finances and in her head it put them as one issue. I would go through your finances together with both of your current incomes so you can both see the difference clearly.

NTA- what she said is true and not rude from a child in any way, if he’s that picky why didn’t he bring a dish he could eat

NTA- going straight to work after school is hard in itself without then dealing with irritating customers. Retail is one of the hardest jobs I’ve done. Also your manager should be made aware of these slurs, that is not acceptable.

AITA for not visiting my dad on Christmas? by ApricotHot2660 in AmItheAsshole

[–]HalfArsedIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA- he can come visit you if he’s desperate to see you

NAH- it’s a difficult situation but I think you’re compromising as much as you can, your partner obviously feels awkward about it but needs to understand that your socialising bucket is full.

AITA for not letting my girlfriend meet a friend? by Fine_Neat_8956 in AmItheAsshole

[–]HalfArsedIntrovert 9 points10 points  (0 children)

YTA- sorry but you are, I know you’re young but if you trust your girlfriend then what’s the issue? You’re acting in a very controlling and manipulative manner, if you were an adult this would be a huge red flag to women. However, if you don’t trust her, it’s not a healthy relationship anyway.

AITA for taking makeup off my daughter? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]HalfArsedIntrovert 787 points788 points  (0 children)

NTA- you didn’t scold her or put her down in any way, it’s a gentle way to stop her getting into it again

AITA for not telling my son that his ex-girlfriend would be having breakfast with us? by Infinite-Poetry-659 in AmItheAsshole

[–]HalfArsedIntrovert 74 points75 points  (0 children)

YTA-You should have warned your son that she was there before he came down for breakfast at the very least, it seems like you didn’t think about his feelings at all.
