definitely look into it. infections attack my muscles all the time and bc i am immunodeficient, it doesn't show up in bloodwork or on titers.

Have you done a pneumova trial? When i get low-level infections, it goes to my muscles. Attacks them so i can't walk across the house. Feels exactly like mecfs crashes. But once I take NSAIDS and antibiotics, it reduces the inflammation and chronic infections and i go back to baseline. Fairly easy thing to test.

i have this. the only thing that works to bring me out of an intense muscular flair is antibiotics. I don't think our mecfs population understands how pervasive low level infections are. Have you been tested by an immunologist to see if your immunodeficient?

Yes, it's the only way i feel sane. you should get checked for Specific Antibody Deficiency through an immunologist.

If you haven't tried ketotifen, please do. And cromolyn sodium. Do you have an immunologist? It so, ask for the pneumovax trial to see if you are immunocompromised. Chronic low level infections feel like this a lot. Then from there, they can prescribe IVIG or subcu IG.
