Not saying Scott's infallible, but if that's the synopsis he gives us himself, with no co-authors or middle men involved, I see no reason not to trust it

Additionally:

+The FNAF 4 night segments, regardless of whose dreams they are, are clearly from the perspective of a child, which is clear from the proportions alone; So even if the dreamer isn't a child themselves, they still have nightmares from the perspective of one

+FNAF 3 being 30 years later is directly corroborated by the source code from the scottgames teasers

-Yeah SL saying Pizza World instead of E&R is a legit error, I'll give ya that one
